Back to school

"Morning princess," Hawk said kissing my forehead 

I yawned "ugh I don't wanna go back to school"

"I know my love but we have too"

"No"

"yes"

"No"

"come on Olivia" he moaned laughing

To be honest, I didn't know how I would feel standing in the place where Miguel broke his back I hoped I would be ok, I didn't want hawk to worry.

I brushed my teeth and picked out something to wear, I put on my American Eagle jean shorts and stole one of Hawk's shirts.

"Nice shirt"

"thanks my boyfriend gave it to me"

"you mean you stole it"

I giggled and kissed Hawk on the cheek, he took my hand today we decided to walk to school I gipped Hawk's hand tightly it felt weird not to have Miguel with us.

When we got to school he looked at me "whatever happens I will be there for you" he said I smiled "Thank you" 

The school was different now, because of the fight we had to go through security like at an airport. Hawk and I were talking for a while before Burt came up.

"Hey guys," Burt said

"There's the man" Hawk and Burt did some kind of handshake "this is it day one round two" Hawk stated "let's get them" I smiled and gave him a kiss. 

"Look there's the kid who wets the bed and was thrown into the trophy case" a girl whispered walking by us 

I lunged at her "got something to say about my boyfriend" I sneered 

She looked at me and was scared

"Well spit it out" I spat

"N-nothing" she stuttered 

"That's what I thought"

The girl and her friend walked away and said hi to Demitri

"What a dick," I said to Hawk ever since Demitri threw Hawk into the trophy case I hadn't spoken to him once.

Hawk wrapped his arms around me "you didn't have to do that princess" 

"I know but you're too perfect to have them talking shit about you"

Hawk marched up to Demetri I followed glaring at him 

"You're lucky security is here to protect your scrawny ass" Hawk scoffed 

"I don't need security," Demetri said confidently

"yeah you actually do" I growled 

"Olivia, I didn't even do any-"

"you threw Hawk into that trophy case he could have been a lot worse than he was with all that glass everywhere, if you hurt someone I love I'll hurt you"

There was an uncomfortable silence as we all glared at each other.

"Everything alright here?" counselor blackwood asked

"oh we are all buddies here," Demetri said wrapping his arms around me and Hawk

It took all of my self-control not to punch Demetri in the face I think hawk felt the same way. 

Then the bell rang

Hawk took my hand and we began to walk up the stairs I took a deep breath ready to face what could be terrible flashbacks. 

"MIGUEL!"

My heart was beating so fast I couldn't walk where Miguel had fallen it was too much I started crying and wrapping my arms around Hawk 

"Robbie what did you do"

I started sobbing harder and fell into him he held me as I sat on the steps crying

"I love you petite soeur"

That was the last thing Miguel had said to me I couldn't stop crying it hurt and Miguel still hadn't woken up yet. I hadn't even told Miguel that I loved him back.

"Hey Olivia calm down it's ok, Miguel will wake up" Hawk smoothed my hair 

"How can you be sure?" 

"I just know he will"

"Ok" I don't know why I agreed so easily. 

Hawk picked me up and carried me to the classroom door where he set me down, biology felt like a super long class Hawk and I played a few rounds of hangman but I was still bored. He kept looking at me to see if I was ok, at the moment I was alright, devastated but I was ok for now. 

After the next two periods, we went to lunch and sat with the rest of Cobra Kai. Hawk had his arm around me the whole time making me feel comforted. The boys basically discussed karate techniques and threw food around the whole time. Then they started talking about the school fight making me tense up. 

"I can't believe Miguel showed Mercy to Robbie Keene" Mitch scoffed "He wouldn't be in the hospital if he hadn't been such a pussy" 

Tears welled in my eyes I couldn't believe Mitch had just said that, I stood out of Hawk's grasp and walked away I needed to be alone. 

"Dude what the hell" Hawk said to Mitch 

I kept walking till I reached the stairs, I didn't know why but I needed to be there maybe to get over my fears. I could still see everything that happened. I could still see Hawk being thrown into the trophy case and I could see Miguel falling. 

My phone beeped alerting me I had a text I ignored it but whoever was kept texting so I decided to look, what I saw made everything I had been worrying about go away,

Miguel is awake 

I started running back to the cafeteria to tell Hawk the good news he saw me running and he stood up I ran into him giving him the biggest hug. 

"Miguel's awake," I said happily not letting go 

"That's amazing," Hawk said kissing my head 

"You knew it" I smiled 

"yes I did" 

I couldn't believe Miguel was awake my brother would survive! 

"Can we visit him after school?" I asked 

"No, let's go now" 

I squealed and took Hawks hand pulling him with me to the car. I was so excited.
