I'm not Lip anymore

I was watching the snake in the Cobra Kai dojo, the snake never felt any remorse for taking down its weak prey but I wasn't like the snake I felt so bad for taking down Demitri. 

"Like the snake?" a voice asked I glanced up and Kreese was smirking at me 

"I suppose, it's pretty cool," I said timidly 

He chuckled and walked away, I felt a pair of arms around me and I knew it was Hawk, he rested his head in the crook of my neck I just stood there and smiled. Hawk knew I was still a bit off about breaking Demitri's arm but I couldn't let Hawk do it, I just couldn't. 

"Are you ok?" Hawk asked 

"Yes I'm alright," I said turning around to give him a kiss, Hawk always made me feel better when I got sad he would tell me that I was a good person, the truth was I cared more about Hawk than I did myself which is why I couldn't let Hawk get attacked for hurting Demitri. 

"Man it was so sick" Mitch was saying to a group of people "Tory was just kicking ass, I took care of Chris, oh and Olivia got that pussy Demitri in an armbar like Chris Jericho and just broke his arm cold-blooded, not mercy"

I tried to smile a bit while Hawk rubbed my back to make me feel better.

"You know I didn't think you were actually gonna do it," Tory said to me, I didn't know how to respond so Hawk did

"Yeah well they got what they deserved for what they did to Miguel" 

Tory looked down at the ground uncomfortably 

"You still haven't seen him yet have you?" I asked  

"I don't want to talk about it," Tory said walking away

The bell jingled as the door to our dojo opened, I saw a few new students come in Kyler and his friend Brucks I think is what his name was. Hawk tensed up beside me and I didn't blame him, those guys made his life terrible and now they waltz into our dojo like they run the place. Hawl looked scared and I understood, I held him close to me trying to comfort him but it didn't seem to be working. A memory formed in my head of the day at the library when Kyler had made fun of Hawk's scar.

"ew look at this freak, what kind of girl would ever kiss this shit"

"Class" Kreese interrupted my thoughts "welcome our new students"

Mitch walked over to them with a smirk on his face "I'm gonna call you guys chode nose and taint breath"

"What the hell did you just say," Kyler asked 

"Oh uh nothing just a thing we do around her sometimes" Mitch flinched when Kyler lunged at him and then he walked away

Hawk took my hand and we walked up to Kreese I had no idea what Hawk was going to say. "Sensei" Hawk began "I don't think these guys are Cobra Kai material" I nodded my head in agreement.

"Weren't you the ones saying we should get new recruits?" Kreese asked

"Yes, but we know some of those guys there-" 

Kreese cut me off "Natural athletes, which is exactly what this dojo has been missing, everyone fall in"

Hawk and I went to take our places 

"Joining Cobra Kai is a privalige, it's not a gift which is why our recruits must earn their positions in this dojo, prepare yourselves for combat on the strong will survive. 

We made a circle around the mat getting ready to fight.

Kyler went up against Mitch, Mitch was too confident and because of that he lost the fight he walked back to his spot when Kreese stopped him "Where you you think youre going" Mitch looked at him "back to my spot" Kreese smirked "you lost to an untrained fighter he's going to take your spot."

On the way back Kyler saw Hawk's lip "Woah that's the kid with the lip I thought he moved" Kyler said to Brucks "the hair kinda distracts you from it" the laughed and Hawk tried to hide his scar with his hand something he hadn't done in many months I took his hand to make him feel better.

Tory fought another girl that dodged tory's punches a few times but in the end Tory knocked her to the ground and kicked her face. The girl spit something out "you chipped my tooth bitch" the snarled at Tory "you needed braces anyway" she spit back

Kreese smirked "good job Nichols" he turned to the other girl "you know the drill off the matt" Then he looked at Brucks who was whispering something to Kyler "you big boy"

"Oh ho yeah who's going down next?" Brucks asked 

Hawk handed the flags to me "he's mine" 

"get him lip" Kyler laughed 

"Ok lemme see if I can fix that lip of yours" Brucks smirked 

Hawk took the topof his gi off revealing the giant hawk tattooed on his back then turned around and Brucks saw my name on the left side of his chest. Hawk looked to Kreese to begin and without warning did a spinning kick kicking brucks in the face, then he kicked brucks in the ribs a few times it was like Brucks forgot how to fight he didn't try to hit Hawk once 

"Wait stop" Brucks panted 

Hawk didn't stop he flipped Brucks onto the floor and began to punch him over and over again, when he was done blood dripped from his hands. Tory looked away it was a bit scary seeing Hawk like this. He walked back to his spot staring Kyler down "I'm not lip anymore" He said 

"Alright class, I think we can call it a day someone pick him up" Kreese smirked
