At lumabas na nga siya. And it felt like it was love at first sight. Parang biglang huminto ang mundo and she's the only one in motion. The way she walk, wore the crown and pull that red dress off is an epitome of perfection. Madie, what are you doing to me?.

Para kaming mga tangang sinasayaw ang isa't isa sa gitna ng oval ni Madie and she called this dance UNLOVING TERRENCE. At mukhang nagwork nga kasi kahit papano nawala sa isip ko si Terrence, lalong lalo na yung sakit na idinulot nya sakin. I don't know if that dance is slow or the universe just made that moment in slow motion.

Lunch break. Sa cafeteria. Nag-aaral kami for our mid terms.
"Jaydee naman eh, seryoso na nga haha wag ka kasing tumawa. Define Cattywampus." Natatawa parin kasi ako pag binabanggit nya ang word na yun. Ewan ko ba. Gosh she's adorable.
"Alam nyo ang ingay nyong mag-aral, di ba uso silent reading?. Tara na nga Dana, Jem, dun tayo." Reklamo ni Nice at yun nga lumipat na sila sa kabilang table.
"Ikaw kasi." Kurot nya sa tagiliran ko.
"Bakit ako? HAHAHA." para kaming mga tangang tumatawa.

Isang hapon kinuwento ko sa kanya na lumalala na ang trangkaso ni Lolo kaso wala kaming pera.
"Sige na, tanggapin mo na yan." pilit nya sakin.
"Basta pangako babayaran kita."
"Jaydee, wag na. To naman parang ibang tao. Basta ibili mo na yan ng gamot ni Lolo tapos bumili ka narin ng pagkain nyo, wag na ulit magpapalipas ng gutom. Oh ayan na si Cholo. See you tom." Beso nya sakin. Si Cholo ang boyfriend nya for this week. Taga ibang school sya kaya di nya alam sa bad reputation ni Madie as a boy collector.
Dahil nahihiya nakong saluhin ni Madie sa financial problems ko ay naghanap nako ng trabaho. Buti nalang sinamahan ako ng kaibigan kong si Karla. Nung time kasi na yun pinalayas sya sa kanila kaya napilitan din syang maghanap ng trabaho para buhayin ang sarili niya pero kalaunan ay pinauwi rin siya ng parents niya sa kanila pero nagustuhan nya na yung paggawa ng sapatos kaya ipinagpatuloy nya parin.

Nag-outing kami ng friends ko. Overnight yun sa isang resort. Tulog na sina Nice, Jem at Dana sa room nila.
Nang gabing yun tumambay lang kami sa may dalampasigan. This is my first time to drink alcohol pero parang mas unang nalasing si Madie.
"..and he just sat right there awkwardly like--" Bago ko pa matapos ang sasabihin ko ay bigla nya nalang akong hinila and crashed her lips on mine. She's drunk and this is basically taking advantage but I kissed her back anyway.
This does not supposed to mean anything. It's just a kiss and we're friends, girl space friends do kiss each other sometimes.

Nagising nako sa katotohanan. Di pwede to, Jaydee ano bang nangyayari sayo?. Wala na diba?. Wala na dapat. Ano yan? Ba't may ganyan?. Ba't mo parin siya iniisip?. She let you go remember?. Akala ko ba di ka naniniwala sa second chances?. Tsk.
I won that night. At sya ang nagcrown sakin. Magkatabi pa kaming tatlo ni Frances sa picture dahil sya ang 1st runner-up.
Hindi ako makatulog ng gabing yun dahil may bumabagabag parin sakin. This is unfair kay Frances. Kasi kung sakaling meron pa ngang natitira para kay Madie, di malayong mangyaring masaktan ko si Frances ng sobra. At ayokong mangyari yun kaya kung ano man tong nangyayari sakin ngayon, this has to stop.
FLASHBACK
"..if you don't give your hundred percent in any relationship, you will always worry if the latter is giving his or her hundred percent or not. Kaya Jaydee, promise me no more secrets between us. Simula ngayon we'll only tell each other the truth and nothing but the truth--"
I wanted to promise pero bakit ganun? Bakit ako nag-aalalangan? Ang pagkakaalam ko wala naman akong tinatago sa kanya.
"..Jaydee, promise me." Sabi nya pa offering a pinky swear.
I sighed deep.
"Truth and nothing but the truth." Sabi ko as I locked my pinky finger with hers. Napangiti naman sya dahil dun.

Payapang natutulog ngayon si Frances sa tabi ko nang biglang nagvibrate ang phone ko. It's a text message from Madie, di ko pa nga pala nadedelete number niya.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONG. IT'S NOT MUCH PERO SANA TANGGAPIN MO.
Oo nga pala October 10 ngayon, kahit ako nakalimutan ko na birthday ko but Madie remembered.
Pero ano bang ibig nyang sabihing tanggapin ko?.
