"Happy birthday dear Lyric," Everyone sang aloud "Happy birthday to you" She closed her eyes and blew out the candles on her birthday cake.
"I hope you wished for your front teeth" King said causing everybody to laugh.
"Leave her alone" I laughed punching his arm.
"Who wants cake?" My dad said grabbing a knife.
"Me! Me! Me!" All the kids exclaimed.
"And that's my cue to go back upstairs" I said and eased my way out the kitchen before one of my parents forced me to help give out ice cream to the kids. I went upstairs to my room and returned to eating my nachos and watching spongebob like the child I am.
I opened my notes all and continued typing out the itinerary for the weekend. It's Quincy's birthday tomorrow and I wanted to surprise him. I already know he probably already has plans for tomorrow night but the rest of the days was all mine.
Not only has he been a great boyfriend, but he's been a great friend. He's been there for me when he didn't have to and has just done so much for me I wanted to return the favor.
That's my baby for real.
I've been ordering different gifts and sending it to Jalen's house so I wouldn't have to fly with all that shit. I really dropped a bag on this weekend on his gifts alone. Who doesn't love gifts?
"Damn you just gon leave me down there like that" King said as he walked into the room.
"You gotta know when to sneak off" I replied before taking a sip from my lemonade.
"You got to New York tomorrow?" He asked plopping down on the bed.
"Yeah"
"It's this store out there that sell this jacket I want. You should go buy it for me, I'll send you my money"
"If I get enough time I gotchu"
"Bet." He said nodding his head "I need to talk to you about something though"
"Who the fuck you get pregnant?" I questioned, scrunching my face up at him.
"What? Nobody"
"I was finna beat ya ass" I laughed, "I'm too young to be somebody auntie"
"But nah for real though. I've been fucking with this girl and she be tryna get me to stop using condoms"
