Soulmates

August of 2011

16-year-old Jisoo walked through the halls of the YG building. She can feel the eyes looking right at her, Wow, famous already? She thought sarcastically.

"Annyeong! I'm Kim Jennie! are you the new trainee?" The brunette named Jennie spoke ecstatically.

"O-oh, Ne! I'm Jisoo, nice to meet you!" She replied

"Also, may I know how old are you? So you know, I wanna know if I should call you unnie or not" The brunette smiled

"Oh, um, I turned 16, this 3rd of January" 

"Well, I guess, unnie it is, By the way, which building are you gonna stay on?" 

"Oh, the 1st building, here's my file.." Jisoo said, handing over the paper and the card.

"Hmmm, let's see, first building and... Oh! you got the same room as me and Lisa! how cool is that?" Jennie said, jumping up and down.

"Really! that's great! Also, who's Lisa by the way?" Jisoo said as she followed Jennie, they were now walking to their Dorm. She thanked the heavens when Jennie said that they are not only staying in the same building, but they will be roommates as well

"Lisa, She's a trainee from Thailand, a great friend of mine too" 

"Really? Thailand?"

"Mhm, poor girl at 14 years old, she left her family and stayed here in Korea, She's like a little sister to me, I love her to bits!"

They both enter the building and went up the stairs, Jennie helping Jisoo with her stuff, carrying some of her bags.

They arrived at the room, they both hear music coming from the inside.

"Oh, that must be Lisa, she loves to dance, she must be practising again" She opened the door to find the 14-year-old dancing to SNSD.

"unnie, hey!" The dancer greeted, "Hi Lisa, meet Jisoo, she's a new trainee and she's gonna be our new roommate!" 

"Annyeong, I'm Jisoo, It's nice to meet you, Lisa!"

"Annyeong! I'm Lalisa Manoban, I'm so glad you're here unnie!" she said and hugged Jisoo making the two older girls smile.

"I and Lisa have been lonely ever since Chuna left, it's been a while since we last had a roommate"

"Yup, how can I help you unnie?"Lisa asked

"Oh, you don't need to, I only have a few stuff, thank you though"

The younger smiled and turned off the music, she sat on her bed while Jennie took some of her things on the desk beside Jisoo's bed

"Sorry for all this junk on your desk, Me and Lisa just hoard our stuff here for a while since no one was here"

"Oh it's fine, here let me help you" she offered

"It's ok Jisoo, Lisa-yah! Get your tote bag out of here!" Jennie shouted, "Ne, sorry for our trashy room, Jisoo unnie"

"Oh please, trust me, Mine and my sister's room is much much dirtier." Jisoo laughed, recalling the time where her mom would compare their room to a pigsty
