Year 2077 (Eren x Levi)

--Chapter 8--

They were a cyborg just like Levi...

They were wearing a plain black, shoulder-length t-shirt, which gave me a full view of their arms. They were completely metal from the elbow down. I had so many questions I wanted to ask, especially about Sasha's new companion.

Sasha then pulled away from the hug with a massive smile on her face.

"Who's that?" I asked, nodding my head in the direction of the person standing slightly behind Mikasa. 

Sasha swiftly turned around to face where I was looking before turning back round to face me with a kind of guilty face.

"Oh, that's Connie. He's my new cyborg and also the reason why I kind of didn't show up to the café to meet you, Armin, Marco and Jean..." She said trailing off towards the end.

I looked over towards Connie and he gave me a gleaming smile in return, sort of like Sasha would do. They seemed similar in a way, and they probably get along well. I then turned around to Levi who was standing arms crossed and staring holes into each person standing opposite him. I was also thinking back to the first few hours with Levi, where we didn't exactly get along well. We're definitely not similar, and we don't exactly get along well. But he certainly does intrigue me. I turned back to my friends just before Sasha started to speak.

"So Eren, who's your new amigo?" Sasha said gesturing to the short raven standing a few steps behind me, making me turn back to face him.

"This is Levi, he's my uh... My new bodyguard." I said turning back to face Sasha with my lips pursed into an awkward smile. I didn't really know what mine and Levi's relationship was at the minute. Are we friends? Or does Levi just think of me as a mark he must protect and nothing more?

"Hey, I'm Sasha!" She held out her hand for Levi to shake. But he stood still not moving and gave her hand a disgusted glare.

"Get that away from me, I don't want to catch some disease from you." He said taking his glare from Sasha's hand towards her eyes. Sasha didn't look at all offended, in fact, she just giggled while putting her hand back down to her side.

"Levi-" I was about to complain about his behaviour before I was cut off.

"It's okay Eren, I didn't know cyborgs could be clean freaks!" She said giggling to herself, while Levi's glare never left her the whole time.

"Can we get a move on, it's getting cold standing here in the middle of the street." Mikasa chimed in. Sasha then calmed her laughing down to speak.

"Haha, of course. Annie's probably bored to death waiting for us! Eren you should come with us!" She said almost bouncing up and down on the spot.

"I uh- I don't thi-"

"Pleeeeease?" Sasha interrupted while giving me puppy dog eyes. Which she was incredibly good at, which made it even harder to say no.

"Okay, su-" I was cut off by another of Sasha's strangling hugs, while Mikasa, Ymir and Connie just chuckled at me. Levi however didn't seem very amused by the fact we'd be joining my friends, but he also had stopped with the death glares only to replace it with a stoic expression.

"Where are we going exactly?" I said, straining my voice from the fact I was being smothered by Sasha. She let go of me to answer my question.

"Here!" She said pointing up to the sign hanging over the building we were standing right next to.

Well, that was easy.

Sasha soon led the way towards the door of 'The Trost District' café and we all entered into the warm surroundings, with the smell of freshly baked bread along with the smell of newly made coffee.
