"Elijah!" Gen yelled as she went into her home.
She walked in and saw that everyone was gone. She walked into the backroom to see that she wasn't alone. The Mikaelson's were feeding on a couple of people from the village. Her eyes widened as she saw them all covered in blood, "You said that no one was going to be back for a few hours." Finn spoke.
"She's fine, she knows," Niklaus said then went back to what he was doing.
"I need to speak to you," Gen said looking at Elijah.
Her eyes scanned the room as they were still feeding, "What's the problem?" Elijah asked while wiping blood off his face.
"My friends that you did that to last night. Their alive, how are they alive I thought that they were dead." Gen said to them.
"Watch," Nik said.
He bit his wrist and held his wrist to the girl's mouth. She quickly started drinking his blood and the wounds on her neck started healing, "We haven't killed anyone, yet. We're safe when we feed." Niklaus said.
Gen felt her face go soft as she realized that they can heal people, "Oh." Gen said softly.
-
Gen went back to the lake with Olivia, she needed to be away from them for a little while. She also told her what Elijah told her about everything, "You can't talk about it to anyone do you understand?" Gen said,
She nodded her head, "How are you okay with all of this, Nik tries to kill me and somehow you still manage to forgive him?" Olivia said.
"I don't forgive him for anything. I put my life on the line for you, I thought he was going to kill me but he didn't. After you left last night, they told me everything I just told you. They trust me for some reason and I don't know why." Gen spoke truthfully.
"Aren't you scared of them?" Olivia asked.
Gen shook her head, "No not really, I should be and that's the part that scares me. I should be afraid but I'm more so curious." Gen told her friend.
-
Genevieve was standing on a chair in the kitchen as her mother was finishing up her dress for the ball that was in two days. Olivia was watching Genevieve's mother toss her around, she giggled as she did so, "What's so amusing?" Nik said coming in.
Olivia looked at him for a moment before returning to look at Gen, "Gen's mother is tossing her around like it's nothing." Olivia told him.
Nik looked at Gen while she was on the chair. Nik was looking from Gen to Olivia. He quickly took a seat by Olivia, "It looks lovely." Nik said.
Clarrissa stopped for a moment, "It's done." Clarrissa said.
Genevieve let out a sigh of relief, "Finally, I don't even think I can move in this thing." Gen said stepping down from the chair.
"Give it a go then, Nik I'm sure you wouldn't mind," Clarrissa spoke.
Gen gave her mother a look, "Mother I-"
Nik held out his hand to Gen, "You know she's right." Nik said.
"I don't know how to-"
"I'll teach you." Nik said.
-
"I can't do this," Gen said out of frustration.
Nik laughed, "Yes you can, you just don't like me." Nik said.
Gen rolled her eyes at him, "Come here." Nik told her.
Gen came closer to him. He ran his hand up her back, "Make sure to keep a straight posture." Nik told her.
She stood up as straight as she could. He placed a hand on her waist and moved her closer to him. He stood beside her and they started again, "It's all about eye contact." Niklaus told her.
Genevieve looked into his blue eyes as he did the same to her's. He placed a hand on her waist, guiding her. The two moved quickly but Genevieve was actually doing it right, "You know you should apologize to my friend." Gen told Nik.
He smiled, "Should I?" He teased.
Klaus twired her and then moved her back into his chest, "Why should I?" Nik whispered.
"You almost killed the love of her life, you owe her an apology," Gen said.
Genevieve could admit that Nik gave her butterflies, she couldn't tell if it was the good or bad kind. She felt nervous around him, "Okay." Nik said.
"Okay, as in you'll apologize?" Gen asked.
Gen moved out of his grasp and looked up at him, "Okay, I'll apologize." Nik said.
Niklaus hadn't spent time with Genevieve like this before. He felt like she was one of her weaknesses, he felt as if he couldn't tell her no. Genevieve felt her face soften, "Thank you." Gen said then she curtsied.
He did a bow to her, "Of course love." Nik said.
-
Gen was sitting in her room talking to Olivia, "So that's why he said that to me." Olivia said.
"What are you talking about?" Gen asked.
"Genevieve, he likes you," Olivia told her.
Gen rolled her eyes and then thought about it for a moment, "He spared my life because of you, he made sure that Henry and Alexander were alive because of you. Gen, he apologized to me because you asked him to." Olivia said.
It wouldn't be the worst thing to tell her that she might maybe feel something, she felt something was happening between her and Elijah, but she also felt something was happening between her and Nik, "I can't be with him, Olivia." Gen told her.
"Why not?" Olivia questioned.
"My mother expects me to go for Prince Jasper, she expects me to be the one he picks. She thinks that he's going to, that's why she's putting so much effort into my gown." Gen let out.
Olivia rolled her eyes, "Do you like him?" Olivia asked.
"He's the Prince, of course-"
"No, I'm talking about Nik," Liv said.
Gen stayed silent, "I'm taking your silence as a yes." Liv said to her.
"I don't know Liv, I feel something but I don't know," Gen told her.
"What is it?" Liv asked excitedly.
"I've had moments with Elijah, it confuses me. I've had moments with Nik and they're somewhat nice. It's just confusing." Gen said.
She threw herself back on her bed and grabbed her pillow and screamed into it, "That's how I feel," Gen exasperated.
