[03] "What The Hell Are You?"

Emilia and Gen were out at the lake sitting and watching the animals in the water. They were talking about the brothers, "There's something off about them." Gen said.

Emilia threw a rock, "What is it now?" She spoke.

"It's just-"

Rebekah came over to the girls and sat down, "Hi." She said plopping down by Emilia.

"Did Kori scare you off?" Emilia asked.

Rebekah shook her head, "My mothers insisting that I go to the ball but I don't want to." She said.

Emilia looked at Rebekah, "Why wouldn't you? The Prince is finding a wife, you have a chance." Emilia said letting out a sigh.

Gen and Rebekah laughed lightly, "Why wouldn't he have waited until next winter." Emilia said.

The family was getting fitted for the ball, it was five days away and they had many things to do beforehand. Gen was helping her mother with Emilia's dress, by helping she was just watching. It was a light blue dress, "Ow." Emilia screeched.

"Hold still." Their mother spoke.

Emilia rolled her eyes as her mother poked her again, "It would go a lot faster if you would help Gen." Their mother spoke again.

Genevieve got up from watching them. She grabbed a needle and started helping their mother with Emilia's dress. The girls were too busy to notice that the boys had come inside, "Clarrissa!" Their father yelled.

Gen flinched from her father's yelling and cut her finger on the pin. Her mother looked at her as she went to get up, "Go get cleaned up and then finish Emilia's dress would you." Her mother said leaving the room.

Genevieve went to the kitchen as The Mikaelson brothers were all in there, "What happened?" Klaus asked trying not to look at her bloody finger.

"My father startled me," Genevieve spoke.

Gen put her finger in her mouth and it quickly stopped bleeding. She looked up at the boys in the kitchen who kept looking at her as she did so, "Are you all okay?" Genevieve asked giggling.

Her fingertip started bleeding once again. Gen quickly got into a cabinet by Kol and grabbed some bandages to stop it from bleeding. She smiled at them and then quickly left them alone.

Genevieve definitely felt something off from the whole family but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Genevieve wasn't allowed out from a certain time at night. As a girl, her father always told her about the things that go bump in the night. Gen obviously knew it was just something he told her to make sure she would listen and stay inside, "You don't always need to listen to your mother and father, take a walk on the wild side." Olivia said.

Olivia Walker, Genevieve's best friend. Olivia and Gen are inseparable, but for the past week, it's been hard for them to be together considering all the new visitors and the ball, "You know who's waiting for us by the lake?" Olivia asked Genevieve.

The two were walking in the woods to get to the lake, "Who?" Genevieve asked.

"Henry and Alexander," Olivia said wiggling her eyes at Gen.

Genevieve smiled and rolled her eyes playfully, "You only want to go because of Henry." Gen said then giggled.

"Alexander asked me if you were coming," Olivia said looking to her.

Genevieve stopped for a moment, "Really?" Gen questioned with a smile.

The two started walking again, "Liv before we go, I have to tell you. It's been bottled in for a week now." Gen said.
