Kaneki and Annie knew eachother from Anteiku. Annie was a full-bred ghoul that warked there she was always wearing a bored face and never really show emotions and if she did it would be fake. 

The Kaneki came along and made Annie felt something she never felt before. when Kaneki left to join the Agori Annie realized she was in love with half-ghoul but it was too late, later on, Annie waited for fo kaneki's return and dreamt about having a family with him.

Kaneki was then Haise Sasaki a special ghoul investigator after he regained his memorize he went to visit the blond hair ghoul, After all, kaneki did fall in love with her and also had thoughts about making her his wife.

After some while, Kaneki and Annie did sexual activities and Annie became pregnant sure kaneki was surprised at first but he was also happy that the love of his life was gonna have a child and proposed to his pregnant girlfriend however in the middle of the wedding the CCG came and attack, 

Kaneki then went into a centipede form and it took them a while to find him but found him because of his ring that he and Annie had.

when they found him kaneki moved into Annies house and 9 months later Annie Ken and Kaneki Ken had 3 children they were triplets 2 boys and a girl.
