𝝠 𝗛𝝠𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗙𝝠𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝝠𝗡𝗗 𝝠 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝝠𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 ~𝗞𝝠𝗡𝗘𝗞𝗜.𝗞~

Spending Time with Dad

Kaneki woke up with a frown knowing he would have to leave his family or more like Annie kicked him out never less kaneki was still sad that his wife didn't reply to his good morning when they woke up.

She frowned the whole day and Norman and Mikasa noticed it but never said anything to their blond-haired mother just thinking she woke up and wasn't in a good mood, Ray spent a lot of time in the library reading books and trying to ignore the fact that he witnessed the whole thing that happened that night.

Shortly after breakfast Kaneki was gonna spend his last day at the house with his children.

"Alright, little ones let's get ready and go have fun!" Kaneki announced holding Historia while Annie washed the dirty plates that had blood on them dew to the human meat and one plate that had normal food.

Their children were just finishing cleaning the table when Kaneki made the announcement.

"Papa, what's the occasion that we had to go out today?" Norman asked curiously for he didn't know about the fight that occurred last, he and his sister Mikasa was too deep in sleep.

Kaneki did a frown but quickly put on closed eye smile and said " Just thought it would be a great day to do something fun while the sun's hot" ruffling Norman's white hair

Norman smiled and nodded, Mikasa looked around the room just noticing that Ray was no were to be seen.

" Hey.....Where's Ray?" Mikasa asked.

Norman faced his sister and replied,

" He's been spending a lot more time in the Library than he usually does, when I woke his bed was empty and I went looking for him he was humming mom's lullaby while reading a book........wait more like he was just staring at the page" Norman paused and putting a hand under his chin and looked down in a thinking way

 "I wonder what happened to him he looked like he was crying" he continued.

Kaneki was gonna say something but Annie entered the room just the same time. Kaneki saw that she had a smile but it was a tired one and it made Kaneki frown.

"Norman, Mikasa how about you go get your brother and freshening up and get dress," she said to her children while giving pecks on each of the foreheads making them giggle.

" yes Mom"

" yes, Mom" Mikasa and Norman replied as they gave their parents hugs before going upstairs to find their brother.

This made Kaneki smile but it quickly dropped when Annie turned around and glared at him before taking Historia out of his hands.

"Annie I'm sorry, Touk-" 

" I wish to never hear that woman's name in this house or anywhere" Annie cut him 

Annie turned her back to kaneki " Ken you should also spend as much time with the kids today it will be the only day you get to"

Kaneki was shocked she called him by his last name. 

' please don't tell me your planning to change back your last name' Kaneki thought with tears forming his eyes as he watched Annie made her way upstairs with Historia in her arms not bothering to look back at the white-haired half-ghoul.

Kaneki sighed and looked down.

" why do bad things happen in my life" his tears finally streaming down his face.

~back when Annie was pregnant with the triplets~

Kaneki made a promise to Annie a promise that he would keep till the day he dies...

" I will forever and always love my family, I don't care who's blood gets on my hands I will always protect my family, for where family and family don't tell lies or keep secrets, We will always have each other's backs and love one another to the end of the world, plus Just imagine  the adorable children you're gonna give birth to....we'll have one big happy family, so please don't think that way" 

Kaneki said to Annie her back against his chest as they sat on their shared bed. Kaneki told Annie that when one of her mood swings kicked in and she thought about how Kaneki would leave her because her stomach got bigger and she looked like she was fat.

She also had negative thoughts about the child she was carrying and other stuff.

Annie smiled while Kaneki rubbed her 7-month pregnant belly.

" Thank you kaneki what would I do without you, I'm sorry I thought that way," she said as she turned to the side a little bit pecking Kaneki's lips before laying her head on his shoulder.

Now kaneki and Annie laid on the side flat on the bed kaneki behind Annie as they were laying in a spoon position.

" Annie can you hum the lullaby that you always hummed," Kaneki asked into's Annie's neck.

she nodded and started humming making Kaneki feel sleepy.

" beautiful" he muttered before falling asleep.
