Once the two introduced themselves to the bride and groom, they sat down. More people started arriving, making Byakuya paranoid
'What if my father arrives, how am I going to tell him that Sonia couldn't make it. What if he-' his thoughts were interrupted by someone lightly tapping his shoulder, it was Naegi.
"You seem kinda worried, are you ok?" The brunette asked in a concerned tone
"I'm fine... You don't have to worry about me" Togami shrugged Naegi's hand off
"Well of course I'm going to worry about you! I care about you" Makoto mumbled while blushing. Byakuya smiled genuinely, something he only did in front of Makoto.
"Well, thank you for your concern" the blonde thanked, making Naegi smile
"I've been wondering, why do you like weddings, they're just a waste of time" Togami stated in a nonchalantly
"They aren't a waste of time! It's were people come together to celebrate love and-" Makoto continued to ramble on about why he likes wedding. Byakuya was memorized by the sight, he could tell the smaller boy was passionate about what he was saying. Naegi soon realized he was rambling
"Uh sorry! I got carried away"
Togami kissed his cheek while no one was looking
"Don't worry about it"
Naegi's eyes widened and he covered his face with his hands.

The ceremony started and for most of it, Togami wasn't paying attention. After the bride and groom said their vows, everyone clapped and got up. After that everyone did their own thing, some people said speechs
"Hey, wanna grab some food?" Makoto asked the blonde
"I heard they had cheesecake" the brunette said with excitement. Byakuya stood up
"Yes, let's go" he stated. The two of them went to the food table and grabed cheesecake, among with a few other things.
"I don't think I've ever had cheesecake before" Togami admitted while sitting back at their table
"Wait really? It's the best!" Makoto stated happily while sitting next to him. Togami shruged and began to eat his slice of cheesecake
"How is it" the luckster asked. There was a brief pause
"I've tasted better" the blonde answered, making laugh a bit
"There's no way that there is something better than cheesecake" Naegi laughed and started eating his slice of cheesecake
(I want cheesecake now ;-;)
They continued to eat while talking about various topics and things they found intresting.
"It's starting to get dark" Makoto pointed out while looking at the sky
"I think the event ends at nine o'clock" Byakuya commented while looking at his wrist watch, the current time was 8:03
"Oh ok," Makoto replied
"I had a really good time with you today Kuya" the brunette smiled and looked at Togami. The ultimate affluent progeny smiled back
"Oh! There was a water fountain behind a few trees, I thought we could sit there together" Naegi spoke
"Lead the way" Togami replied. Makoto draged him to the spot. There was a old looking fountain that was surrounded by trees, but was still semi visible to the wedding venue.
Naegi sat on the ledge of the fountain and patted the space next to him, signaling for Togami to sit next to him. He sat down next to the small boy, who was looking up at the sky
"The stars are super pretty tonight" Makoto beamed. They faintly heard the music from the venue playing, it was a slow song. Togami got up and offered his hand to Naegi, which made the shorter boy to raise his brow. He grabbed Byakuya's hand regardless. The blonde held Makoto's hand and placed his other hand on Makoto's waist
"My I have this dance"
The ultimate hope was in shock and his face flushed
"Are you sure you're feeling ok?" Makoto asked jokingly
"Shut up and just dance with me before I change my mind" Byakuya demanded. Makoto giggled and kisses the blonde's nose
"Yes, you may have this dance" the shorter boy responded. Makoto put his free hand on Byakuya's shoulder and leaned his head on the other's chest.
They danced for what felt like forever
"I-I don't think I ever asked asked you but...." Naegi stated
"Will you um..."
"What?"
"If I say it, it's going to come off as really cheesy"
"Just say what you want to say"
Makoto blushed and looked away
"Will you... Be my boy... Friend?" He managed to say, making Byakuya's eyes widened.
"O-only if you want to of c-course" Makoto stuttered
"I thought we already were" the blonde also looked away from embarrassment, causing Naegi to smile
"Can I kiss you?" Naegi asked, Togami kissed him in response. They stayed like that for a few seconds before breaking the kiss and smiling at each other.
"Byakuya...?" A fimilar deep voice questioned. The two boys turned their heads to see a tall male. Togami's eyes filled with fear
"Hello father..."
Ooooooh, I left you on a cliff hanger (sorry about that)
This chapter was really hard to write because I haven't been to a wedding in 8 years 💀
