"I'm finally here! Hopes peak High" Naegi said to himself out loud. Makoto stood in front of his new school. He started to walk into his new school and went to the entrance ceremony where they talked about all the school policies and giving out dorm keys. As soon as everyone had gotten their dorm keys they headed for their rooms. Naegi was happy because all students shared a dorm with one other person, he couldn't wait to see his new roommate.
He unlocked the door to his dorm. Once he opened it he saw a blonde haired male reading a book, not to mention his beauty. The angelic boy looked up from his book and the two boys' eyes met making Makoto blush a bit
"Hello, I'm Makoto Naegi nice to meet yo-" Naegi was cut off boy the other boy
"I do not engage in social interaction with commoners" The blonde spat.
'Oh... So he's one of THOSE people' Naegi thought to himself while scratching his cheek and smiling weakly
"Um well can you at least tell me your name?"
"Byakuya Togami" the rich looking male replied looking back at his book.
Naegi started to unpack, feeling uneasy since it seemed like his roommate hated him. He let out a big sigh
"So... Byakuya-"
"Don't call me that" Togami demanded
"What are you reading?"
"A book"
Makoto sighed
"Yes but-"
"Didn't I say I don't want to talk" Togami growled. Naegi decided to give up trying to talk to Togami and walked out the dorm to meet new people, hopefully he'd meet nicer people.
Makoto saw two girls, one had brown hair and the other was very tall and masculine.
"Hello!" The shorter girl greeted
"I'm Aoi Asahina" the small girl smiled and held out her hand. Naegi shook it
"I'm Makoto Naegi it's a pleasure to meet you"
"This is Sakura Ogami" Asahina stated holding on to the masculine female's arm
"Hello Naegi" she greeted
"You guys mind if I hang out with you..... I would hang out with my roommate but he hates me" Naegi pleaded
"Wha? Of course you can hang out with us!" Asahina yelled excitedly
"Thanks"
"So why does your roommate hate you?" Sakura asked
"Well-"
"Yes why does your roommate hate you Naegi" another voice chirped in making Naegi's blood run cold.
"H-hey Byakuya...." Makoto begrudgingly turned to face the taller male. He never really realized the hight difference between them, which only made Togami more intimidating
"Who's this" Hina asked while whispering to Makoto
"My roommate" he whispered back making Asahina cover her mouth with one of her hands.
"Well?" Togami asked in annoyance
"W-well you were mean to me s-so I kinda assumed-"
Togami walked closer to him making the brunette more scared.
"Listen here Naegi, I am a nice person" Togami said while pushing his glasses up
"Then why were you-"
"Except to commoners like you" the blonde smirked evily sending shivers down Naegi's spine
"So don't bother talking to me again" Togami remarked while pushing past Naegi
"Don't talk to him like that!" Hina argued to which Togami sighed and continued to walk away. Naegi looked down at his feet sadly
"Don't let it get to you Naegi, he's just a big ol' meanie" Asahina shouted encouraging.
"Thank you" Makoto spoke with a weak smile. He could tell it was going to be hard making friends with Byakuya.

Togami walked to the library but was stopped in his tracks when he heard a high pitch voice say
"Masterrr~"
Byakuya tried his best to avoid the creepy girl.
"Get away from me plebiean" he scolded making Toko drool
"Y-yes master Togami~" she ran away with pink spread across her face. He stared to think about what Naegi.
He could understand why Naegi thought he hated him. Togami did actually like the boy but his father had always tell him
'You shall not make friends with commoners, they bring no fortune to the family'
Byakuya was taught that at a very young age, he ended up pushing others away leaving him with no friends. He didn't care though, all he needed was himself..... At least that's what he thought.
As soon as the blonde arrived at the library he took out a murder mystery book and sat down to read. He was soon stoped by lavender haired girl
"You must be Byakuya Togami I presume" she stated
"Yes, who are you supposed to be" Togami asked with annoyance in his voice
"I'm Kyoko Kirigiri"
"So you're the headmaster's child"
Kirigiri nodded
"I see you read murder mystery novels, I expected nothing less from the Byakuya Togami" she retorted
"Yes, now leave. I have no business with you so you can leave" Byakuya looked back at his book. He waited for an answer but instead he heard the door of the library close.
'I'm surprised she left so soon'

Naegi had introduced himself to everyone in his class list
"So Makoto who's your roommate?" The blue haired girl, who was Sayaka Maizono, asked.
"Byakuya" he replied
"I guess luck wasn't on your side" she snikered
"Oh come on, I bet he's a nice person! You just need him to open up, and that's what I'm going to do!" Naegi shouted confidently
"Well, if he turns out to be a bad person I'm always here" she smiled.
"Thanks Sayaka" Naegi spoke while smiling at his friend's kind words.
