Shuichi ran out of the park and straight to the dormitory again. He ran where ever his legs took him, which was Kaede's dorm. Saihara rubbed his face with his sleeve, whipping away his tears before knocking on the door. The door was opened by a sleepy strawberry blond
"What the fuck do you want, it's 7:30a.m!" Miu scolded
"U-um... Is Kaede in there, I need to talk to her"
Iruma glared at him before closing the door. After a few seconds, Kaede opened the door
"Morning Shuichi!" The pianist greeted
"Morning..."
"So what's up? Miu told me that you need to tell me something" Akumatsu questioned, to which the detective nodded
The two walked to the music room. As soon as they walked in, Kaede rushed over to the grand piano and sat down. Shuichi sat next to her and looked down at his feet
"So what did you want to tell me?"
"W-well... I confessed to Kokichi"
"That's great, well done Shu!" The blonde congregated
"What did he say?" Kaede continued
"He said he felt the same way..." The blue haired boy stated and frowned
"Why do you look so sad?"
"Because he said he was lying" Shuichi's voice hitched, he tried his hardest to not break down.
Akumatsu gasped and hugged her friend
"I'm so sorry"
"I-it's not your fault, it was m-mine for believing him"
Kaede broke the hug and spoke
"Do you want me to play you a song? It could maybe make you feel better"
Saihara nodded.
The blonde looked at the piano keys and placed her hand down, she beagan to play a song called "Things unsaid"
her hands moved gracefully as she played the piano. Saihara had tears rolling down his face, he couldn't hold it in any longer. As Kaede played, she looked at her friend with empathy.
She finished of the song beautifully
"Hey, let's hang out with Kaito and Maki today" the blonde suggested
"Y-yeah ok"

The four friends sat in a cafe, talking about anything on their minds
"Hey, why do you look so sad" Maki questioned while looking at the detective
"Yeah, you seem kinda sad since you came back from hanging out with Oma" Kaito added
"What did that gremlin do, I'll kill him" Harukawa growled and pulled out her pocket knife.
"Woah Maki, put the knife back... It's not a big deal" Shuichi stated
"So he did do something"
"N-no! It's nothing... He didn't do anything..." The blue haired boy lied. Kaede awkwardly smiled.
"Well ok," Kaito huffed
"There's going to be a meteor shower tomorrow, I was thinking we could watch it together" the astronaut continued and grinned
"That's a great idea! We should all go" Kaede beamed and nudged Shuichi's arm
"Y-yeah, I'll go" the blue haired boy muttered
"I'll go, not like I have anything better to do" Maki remarked
"Then it's settled, we'll meet up in the park at 7:30p.m" Mamota chimed.

It was the day of the meteorite shower and Shuichi and Kaito had just arrived at the park.
"So Shuichi, you still seem sadder than usal... Are you ok?" The taller male asked, concerned for his friend
"Um w-well-"
"Kaito, Shuichi!" Saihara was cut off by Maki calling them. Mamota ran to the brunette and hugged her. Harukawa blushed and pushed him away.
"Glad you're here Maki roll"
Maki didn't reply and played with one of her pigtails.
Soon enough, Kaede arrived
"Hey everyone, I hope you don't mind but I brought someone with me" she stated while weakly smiling
"Who is it?" Harukawa questioned.
"HEEEYYY Kayayday, wait for meeee!" A voice shouted while running to the group. Once Shuichi realized who it was his eyes widened
"Hi everyone" Kokichi grinned while Maki glared at the small boy. Kokichi walked to the detective and smirked
"Hey Shumai~"
Saihara cursed himself for not bringing his hat, he didn't want to looked Oma in the eyes.
"Hello.." Shuichi replied and looked away.
"Well... let's sit down so long, the meteor shower only starts at 8:00 p.m" Kaito stated.
The group talked about anything that came to mind, except Saihara, he stayed quiet. Oma looked over at the detective and decided to apologize to him
"Hey shuichi, I need to tell you something" Kokichi spoke and dragged Shuichi away from the group.
The two stood by a tree and stood in akward silence.
"So about yesterday..." Kokichi began
"I was lying yesterday... About lying" the short male mummbled.
"Kokichi..."
Oma looked up at the latter, in hopes that he had forgiven him.
"Please just stop... It's not funny anymore" Shuichi looked down at his feet.
The purple haired male was stunned
"I'm not lying this time!" The supreme leader cried
"Well how am I supposed to know that! No one can tell when you're lying or not" Saihara responded, nearly shouting.
Kokichi was speechless
"It's not fair... You hurt me" Shuichi started to tear up, guilt washed over Oma.
"I'm sorry.."
Shuichi sighed and turned around
"Let's go back-" he was interrupted by two arms wraping around his torso.
"I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to because..." Kokichi was hesitant to say the rest of his sentence
"Because I like you Shuichi!" He managed to say, tightening his grip on the other boy. Shuichi turned around and looked at Kokichi.
"This is so unfair..." Shuichi sighed but smiled
"Are you going to forgive me?"
"I guess so"
Kokichi's eyes lit up
"Yaaay! I knew you loved me Shumai"
Saihara blushed and looked at the sky
"Hey Shumai"
"Yes?"
"Let's kiss" Oma stated bluntly, making the latter blush even more
"Wh-what"
"Get down here and kiss me Saihara!" Kokichi demanded and tried to kiss him, making Shuichi laugh.
The detective leaned down, he placed his hands on the other's shoulder. They both leaned in and connected the space between their lips. As they did the meteorite shower began
"Hey guys, come on the meteor shower has be-" Akumatsu stopped when she saw the two boys kissing. She smiled and walked back to the group. Oma broke the kiss and grined
"Nee-heehee, you're a good kisser Shumai~"
Saihara blushed and covered his face.
"W-we should head back" Shuichi stated
"Hmm, if you say so" the supreme leader grabbed one of Shuichi's hands and walked back with him
"Hey, after this let's have a sleepover in my dorm" Oma stated
"Ok" the detective smiled
They walked back to the group and sat down. The five watched the meteorite shower together.
