Edinburgh - Scotland - 2018

INT. BEDROOM -

We see Wanda waking up from bed and seeing that Vision wasn't beside her. She instantly gets up to see him reading the newspaper by the window as a fine white beam of light shone upon him. She sighs thankfully.

Wanda - "Honey."

Vision - "Yes, Wanda?"

Wanda - "Don't you have access to all news anyway? Why read a newspaper?"

Vision - "Yes. Well, I thought reading would--"

Wanda - "Would...?"

Vision - "Better fit in...as a human being."

Wanda chuckles.

Wanda - "Honey. You're the most human person to me."

Vision - "Thank you Wanda. That really does mean a lot."

Vision gets up, folds the newspaper, adjusts his shirt and transforms into his human form.

Vision - "Should we have a coffee, if you want to that is?"

Wanda - "I'd like a coffee yes."

The couple leave their house, and on walking through the broad daylight, 'marvel' at the brilliant structures of the buildings. Vision confidently walks, whereas Wanda notices the citizens of the town looking at them strangely. She feels emotionally naked.

Wanda - "Vision..."

Vision - "Yes dear."

Wanda - "Don't you see how we're being watched?"

Vision - "I did, but I didn't think it was a big deal...Are they bothering you Wanda?"

Wanda - "No..."

Vision - "Well then what's to worry about?"

Wanda - "I don't know..."

Vision - "What you need, is coffee."

Turns out they had reached a small coffee shop. Wanda patiently waits in a queue, whereas Vision talks to others in the shop connecting with humanity as they laugh in an engaging conversation. Vision then walks up to her.

Vision - "Would you like me to wait in the line?"

Wanda - "No honey. I'll wait."

But then Wanda then hears two teenagers giggle by themselves as she overhears them mocking how she called an 'android', "honey." She feels insulted. Then her turn comes to order, and she sees the woman on the counter giving her an uncanny look, making Wanda feel extremely uncomfortable.

Counter Lady - "Uh, are you going to order? There are people behind waiting."

Wanda - "I'd...like a--a coffee."

Vision sees his partner struggling and so he rushes in order to comfort her holding her by the shoulders.

Vision - "I'm sorry, she'd like a coffee please."

Counter Lady - "Could've just said so."

Vision and Wanda walk out with her coffee. As they walk back home, Vision sees how silent Wanda is and wishes to speak, but stops and looks forward. He was worried about her.

INT. ROOM -

Vision was again, by the window looking at Wanda sitting on the bed with her back against him, hauntingly quiet.

Wanda - "Speak up Viz. I know you wanna ask me something."

Vision - "How did you know?"

Wanda - "I can tell."

Vision - "Wanda I'm worried for you. You seemed unhealthy by the shop, and on the way there too. What're you not telling me?"

Wanda - "I--"

Vision - "You know you can be honest with me..."

Wanda - "Everyone was looking at us. It made me uncomfortable. It's like they see us as a human and android couple."

Vision - "Wanda, do you see me as 'just' an android?"

Wanda - "Well of course not."

Vision - "Then that's what matters."

Wanda's fear 'mutates' into a heartwarming smile.

Vision - "I like seeing you smile. You should do that more often."

Wanda blushes.

They then kiss, as they find solace with each other...

THE END.
