Angel stepped up to the screen and let out a breath. He heard Cree whistling and cheering him on. He smiled a bit at that and did a song at random, just for shits and giggles. It landed on a song called Daisy 2.0. He chose it.

"Oh, hell yeah! Totally got this! This is your kind of song baby!" Cree laughed and shouted.

The blades lit up and he began. It wasn't so easy once he realized how fast the blocks came at him. He sliced like his life depended on it. He started getting into the groove of the song and once he understood the pattern of blocks he started dancing to it a little. He wanted to show off for Cree. 'Anything for Cree.' And that's when he knew how dangerous this situation was.

He worked his ass and was sweating by the time the song finished. His limbs hurt from the constant exercise and movement. He panted and turned around to see several people staring at him from the outside of the room, they clapped and cheered. He laughed a bit and looked over at Cree, hoping he made an impression. His stomach lurched when he saw Halo standing behind Cree, wrapping his arms loosely around his neck from behind the loveseat. Cree was in shock before smiling and cheering, standing up and throwing Halo off balance.

"Dude! That was awesome! First time too, I'm impressed!" He grinned at the spider and Angel blushed at the praise.

"That was actually pretty fun, y'know." He winked at Cree. He caught Halo rolling his eyes.

"I'm glad you liked it, it's one of the most popular earth games in hell right now! C'mon, I'm craving something," He grabbed his drink and let Angel grab his before taking his hand.

Angel yelped at the pull as they raced past people playing dozens of different video games and dance games. The colors were bright and flying everywhere when they walked through a dance floor, people dancing as they looked at a screen and sparkled in glitter and face paint that glowed. Angel took it in as they slowed down to a small bar that sold different foods. He was mesmerized by the beautiful colors, pink, blue, green, red, purple. He didn't see these colors as much as he used to on earth, he had taken it for granted. The bodies danced in sync as Angel watched.

"Okay, here ya go! I got mochi, strawberry is the best-" Cree noticed Angel staring at the crowd of dancers, colors lit up in every direction.

"Pretty, right?" Cree asked before taking a bite of mochi.

"Y-yeah. I just don't see color like this often," He watched the glitter sparkle.

"Hmm...yeah, I wanted it to be like that. Not a lot of beauty in hell, so I created a space just for that, I craved it." Cree explained.

Angel froze for a second.

"Wait, this is your club?!" He asked in shock, looking at Cree.

"Mhmm..." He offered Angel a mochi and Angel took it.

It was a squishy dough with ice cream inside and when he took a bite he saw hearts and stars.

"Wow..." Angel looked in love.

Cree giggled and continued to eat the frozen treat. Angel smiled and finished it. It was delicious. What kind of people did he hire to make such amazing food. He looked back out in the crowd: at all the different gamers, playing hardcore to soft sweet games, the dancers sweating and sparkling as they followed the lead screen, the laughter as demons drank and ate, people who waved at Cree. He looked at him then.

"You created this beautiful place?" He asked, his eyes shining in awe. He stared at Cree's soft blue and black eyes, that also shimmered from the colors. He saw the lights light up his painted face and shimmery glitter. His long lashes never blinked.

"Yeah, I wanted my own special place. Earth is radiant in color and light, rich food and life, fun games; pleasures that I wanted for my own." He looked at Angel and stared him down. Angel sighed at the intensity, he just wanted to close the gap. He was beautiful. Cree smiled and looked down.

"I was born in hell. I never knew earth like you did. Whether good or bad. I wanted to know and understand, like all these new souls." He waved his hand at the people. "This is my favorite place." Angel didn't want to lose this closeness.

"Why did you show me?" He moved his face closer. Cree looked taken aback.

"You're my new best friend. I wanted to show you because I like you." He smiled Angel felt his heart swell up, as well as sink back down. Best friends, but..friends...

Cree laughed and grabbed Angel's hand.

"Let's dance, yeh? Just follow the lead dancer, ok?" He said as he pulled Angel onto the dance floor.

Angel danced with Cree and he never felt more alive.

........

It was later when they left through the tunnel entrance. They laughed as Angel told the hooker joke and Cree thought it was the best thing he ever heard.

"Is it an earth joke?" He giggled.

"Pffft...I don't know. What's this obsession with earth and all that? It's not the best place in the world y'know." Angel laughed.

"I know...I just find it fascinating. I like learning about stuff like that." He skipped a bit as Angel walked with him. Sometimes Cree was a badass and sometimes he was adorable. It was odd for Angel to see. He also noticed how sometimes he himself was his usual boisterous and inappropriate self but would change to a shy, almost meek person when he was around Cree at times. Cree was rubbing off on him. He smiled at the thought. Angel obviously had a crush on him and it kind of scared him.

They made it back to Cree's room.

"Whoo fun night yeh? Hope you had fun best friend!" Cree smiled as he pulled off his boots.

"Oh yeah, it was a hella lot of fun, I wanna go again," Angel gave him puppy eyes.

"So you can kick ass again on Beat Blades?" He laughed "That was fucking awesome, I'll tell you." Angel blushed at the comment.

"Yeah, I enjoyed playing that. That was pretty cool," He stuttered a bit. Dammit, Cree.

"For sure. Let's do it again next Friday," He winked at Angel.

Angel was about to say something sultry when Jerry walked in.

"Sir Dust, hope you had a pleasant evening." He smiled.

"Awww...wish we could have a sleepover, damn." Angel was whining and Cree stopped for a sec.

"Wait how bout tomorrow night, yeh?" He asked, already typing a text.

"Oh, maybe...fuck, I don't remember if my boss has me filming tomorrow."

"Well, he can't say no to 20k..." Cree smirked deviously.

Angel blushed and noticed Jerry smiling at him, knowingly. He mouthed him to shut up.

"M'kay, I sent it. Keep the clothes by the way, it was fun hanging out with you best friend," He then hugged Angel. Angel was so off guard he gulped before hugging him back, enjoying the wonderful warmth and trying his best to look unaffected by the bro hug. He almost forgot that Cree was just an inch shorter than him.

"It's nice sharing my favorite things with a new friend," Cree said softly in Angel's neck.

After that they left and Angel held on the warmth that Cree offered all the way home, Jerry smiling as he drove.
