Charlie had an emergency meeting with her father after a call with his assistant. She didn't know what the angel had been doing here but she had to find out. She got out of the car and his assistant let her in the gate.
"It's very late, Miss Magne, he may not be happy to be woken so late." She spoke rather sharply before Vaggie put a spear to her face.
"She called ahead of time, she came, so he's going to talk to her," she hissed at the woman, who seemed a little surprised at the comment.
They rushed into the great hall before heading to Luci's study. Vaggie waited outside the door. Charlie walked in and he was sitting at the large desk, his exaggerated armchair making him look small.
"Good evening kitten, it's good to see you." He spoke with a gentle voice, his lips pulled into a smile of sharp teeth. "I heard about the angel you saw. And no I don't know why he was here, this was a surprise visit from a brother. Sadly he didn't stay long to have a chat." He looked deceivingly relaxed as he explained.
"Dad," Charlie walked over to his desk. "Is it possible maybe he had taken a soul? Maybe the soul was redeemed?" She asked, hope in her voice.
A sharp sound of claws digging into the fine wood made everyone cringe.
"Well, kitten, who was redeemed then? From the looks of it, not many are clamoring for your 'happy hotel' to make them better. Are you missing anyone?" He narrowed his eyes at her, a sharp smile still in place.
She looked down and away.
"No." She felt dejected.
"I'm sure that one of my brothers was just flaunting his power and light like some kind of parade. Don't worry, I'll see to it that it will be mentioned in my official meeting upstairs. Wouldn't want people to talk." He pulled out a feather pen and began writing what appeared to be a letter.
"But dad, it didn't seem like-"
"Enough kitten! Go back and tend to your hotel! Keep dreaming your dreams, while I run hell here," He narrowed his eyes at Charlie.
She felt her eyes fill up with tears, and she walked out, with Vaggie finding her right outside the door.
"How did it go?" She patted her back as they walked away.
"Not good. He's not concerned in the least. He doesn't think it's a redemption." She shook her head and walked back to the limo.
Vaggie comforted her as they went back home.

Vox had looked everywhere for Clyde, all around the club. He had grabbed anyone off the streets and interrogated them. He was desperate. He shouldn't have left him there by himself. He was sitting on the steps, before Velvet came looking for him.
"Vox? What the hell are ya doing out here? Aren't we supposed to take over that building together before that radio freak takes it over?!" She ranted at him before looking at his sad face.
He didn't say a word.
"You didn't find him?" She asked.
"No." He allowed the digital tears to fall.
She sighed and sat with him.
"Hm, don't you think you'd rather have someone who actually wants you? Who doesn't wanna use you to get something they want, y'know." She spoke.
"What are you on about?" He let out a sneer.
"Just...wouldn't it be nice to have someone who chases after you for once? Who understands you better than anyone else? I mean, Valentino treated you like shit. And Clyde...well, he was your first heartthrob but he didn't reciprocate...Maybe it would be better if you looked for someone who wanted you for real." She looked almost bashful as she said that.
