Angel was checking his nails, obviously bored of the same routine of tasks that Charlie had him do. He had already gone through his therapy session with Charlie today and was now doing an activity, which he began to zone out in. He was thinking about the sleepover and a little smile began to form. He knew he was close to kissing him. Why didn't Cree kiss him? Cree wasn't shy and never got embarrassed over anything. Angel was always the one to blush and stutter around him. Cree had an unlimited amount of confidence. He fantasized about their cuddle session as Charlie droned on and on.
"Angel? What is something you could give up this week?" She had tossed a small bean bag into Angel's hands.
He perked up and immediately thought of something, he didn't want to relay he wasn't paying attention. Vaggie gave him a scowl, never fooled.
"Um, I can give up smoking this week, shouldn't be hard," He leaned back against his seat.
"Oh, good idea! Giving up something can help you see how much you really don't need it in the first place, starting slow and easing your way out of it will make the process easier..." He listened for a minute and it faded out. He absent-mindedly threw the bean bag across the room to Husk.
He didn't notice Alastor in the back of the room, observing his actions. The deer smiled widely. He was taking notes on Angel's behavior.
Right after the activity they were sent to clean certain rooms, Angel on the entryway, dusting and vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, and organizing. He worked, not stressed about the mindless work, and humming lightly with thoughts of Cree on his mind. He had already wrapped his hair in a handkerchief and changed into comfy shorts and tank top. He dusted some shelves and didn't hear Alastor coming up behind him.
"Good day, isn't it my dear?!" Alastor spoke in a cheerful tone.
"Yipe! Gah Al! Can you not?!" Angel yelled after he scared him.
"Can I not, what?" He asked, his ears perking rather cutely.
"Not scare me!" He glared at the overlord.
"Well, it's not my fault you're too lost thinking about your dear Cree and not listening to your surroundings," He chirped back. Angel froze.
"What? How did you- have you been following me around?!" Angel was on the edge of screaming.
"Why, yes I have."
"Wha- Why?!" He glared holes in the radio demon.
"Haha! To gather information, of course. You never know where blackmail can possibly come from, and I do not miss a thing, my dear." He squinted evilly at him.
"I swear to satan, if you dare tell anyone anythin'-" Angel's voice could scathe.
"Of course not mon ange, this is for my purposes, don't worry yourself over it. I won't tell a soul, nor will I stop you" Alastor smiled wider.
Angel didn't feel convinced but perhaps he didn't have a choice. The creepy snake had been spying on him for hell knows what reason and he couldn't stop him from telling Charlie. He shivered thinking about his freaky shadow following him. Could he not have any privacy in his life?
"Whateva' I got shit to do anyway," He waved off Alastor and looked away but when he looked back, he was gone.
"Creepy bastard," He muttered under his breath as he started the vacuum.
Alastor, however was not too far and made his way to his office. He knew who Cree really was and knew just how to break Vox. Secrets always come out.
