It is the day of the wedding. I was currently sitting at a waiting room, pondering on the reasons that I am here. I am about to marry someone that I have only met twice.

Its not to late to turn back.

But turning back will mean no revenge, turning back is what she wants.

"Yo Bozo I just checked out your wife, let me just say, she is looking fine." Naveah greets upon entering the room.

"That's nice to know." I say, still distracted by my thoughts.

"Hey, Xavier. Stop worrying, she is a nice gal. Be thankful that this marriage is to happen, because I think she is the only girl who will probably ever be able to handle you." She asserts, nudging my side with a mischievous smirk. I sigh as I turn around facing the mirror to tie up my tie.

"That will be the last time you'll have to do that. The only time you will have to tie a tie is when you you want to bind her onto your be-"

"That is enough of your nonsense, Nav. I think it's time for you to go sit with the other guests who have decided to show up early." I cut her off, guiding her out of the room.

It is only when I shut the door that I finally take a deep breath. That of which did not help, so I made my way to my bag and pulled out the chocolate. Taking a bite of the sweet, euphoric treat that never fails to instantly calm my nerves.

Is she getting cold feet to?
Is she as nervous as me?
What is she thinking about right now?

There was a soft knock on the door, spoiling my trail of thought. I take another bite of the bar before getting up and opening the door.

It was Nate. He smiles at me as he hands me a letter. I take it from him, my brows furrowed as he walks away.

"Where are you going?" I question.

"The best man is needed in the main hall. Congratulations Xavier." He replies without turning back, shooting me the peace sign.

I shut the door and sit back down on the couch placed in this changing room. I opened the envelope to reveal another paper written are the words

'Dear Adonis,
I know that you are probably feeling anxious in regards of the occasion taking place today.
I know that you are probably getting cold feet due to the nerves.
If you decide to turn back now, I'd understand.
However, I know you are not like that. I know you have your motives, which is what will encourage you to continue with todays schedule.
Throughout the process of being 'pampered' I had thought about the ways I could maybe assist to tranquilise your mood.
I have come to the conclusion that I wouldn't really know how to settle your nerves, other than maybe eating something sweet to temporarily distract your mind. That of which you are most likely already digging into. They do say that picturing people in their underwear will no doubt preserve ones assurance.
Although, to be quite frank I don't really think picturing your friends and family in their underwear will do much help other than scar you for life.
Well anyways, I wish you luck in which ever steps you wish to take Xavier Adonis Kallum Huntington.
Leah.'

I look up from the paper only to find a small smile tugged at the lips of my reflection. I immediately drop the smile and go back to munching on the bar of chocolate.

How did she know what I was thinking?
What was the point of this letter?
Why is she being........ nice?
Perhaps she is probably getting information from my big mouth roomate. I glance back at the letter.
How is her handwriting so neat?
How did she know what to say?
