Leah
I woke up and went straight into my cupboard. I pulled on a jumper and then put on my robe making my way downstairs, to the kitchen."You're up early." Jaxon conveys whilst flipping a pancake. His eyes enlarge as he turns to face me.
"What in Gods name happened to you? You look like you have spent a good few weeks in a jungle being chased by a tiger." I glare him, drilling a hole into his head at his declaration, yet still answer his question nontheless.
"I will be going on my first date today."
"Leah you do relise that if you go on this date, he will not reject you." He finalises.
"Oh, but he will. Also you have a lot of pride in your sister, don't you think?" I retort, attempting to arch a challeging brow.
Key word attempt.
"Please don't do that, you look constipated." He says motioning from my brow to the entirety of my face he then motioned to the stack of pancakes on a plate, pointing at it and instructing the words.
"Eat" with a stern look."My stomach isn't awake yet." I mumble, patting my stomach causing him to look at me with daggers. I immediately lean more forward and cut a peice, and stick it into my mouth.
"Mmmmmm, wow, so delicious." I exageratedly express, turning slightly towards my right to make a run from the hideous beast forcing me to eat, only to find him leaning down against your chair and the work surface his face right in front of mine.
"Hey, have I ever how magnificent your face was." Deciding to use the suck up to him then run tactic.
"You are staying here until you have eaten every last crumb." He finalises and I slouch back into the chair.
Yh your face is magnificent, magnificently annoying.
"Leah you eat like and I quote 'the cow you are' throughout the day, your inner cow really should come out during the morning, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, now we are both not getting up until you have eaten." He rants.
With a grunt I straighten myself up and started to eat the pancakes he made and drank some if my orange juice as he sipped on his coffee next to me, watching me like a hawk."Did you send the files to Felix?" I confirm.
"Yes, I sent the files to your precious Felix, he told me to tell you that he misses you."
"I miss him to." I mention, getting up and putting the dishes in the sink before going to my room.
I am currently in the shower staring at nothingness. It was part of my routine after shampooing, conditioning, and scrubbing to just stand in the shower.
The warmth the shower provided, as I stared at the tiled wall ahead of me, thinking of nothing, and yet everything. So today I'll experience a date. Hmmm what does one wear on a date? What does one say on a date? How does one act on a date? How does one act on a date knowing that they will get rejected at the first glance?
A knock interruptes my thoughts.
"Stop overthinking." The culprit stated from the other side.
"He was supposed to reject me, not ask for a date." I mumble whilst switching off the shower.
A shiver makes its way down my spine as I went from a nice hot
shower, to the cold air hitting my body. The droplets of water were not helping the now bitter temperature encasing my body. I quickly throw on my bathrobe and wrapped my head in a towel prior to making my way out of the bathroom and into my wardrobe.
