Second Chance: A Sanvers Story

I saw her

Alex was awake early as per usual in the morning. She decided to stay at Kara's overnight because she was just so frazzled. Kara had upgraded her flat and has an upstairs room which was for Eva as she stayed round often and Alex just stayed in Kara's room with her.

All night she was awake tossing and turning while Kara peacefully slept. But Kara was starting to notice something was up and she knew she would have to mention her run in with Maggie sooner of later as Kara was going to have to watch Eva.

Eva was munching on some blueberry pancakes that Alex had made her while Kara flew in through the window.

"Morning my sweet" she cheerfully said as coming in.
"Morning auntie Kara, mama made me some blueberry pancakes" Eva replied.
"Oo sounds yummy"

Alex was still daydreaming thinking about Maggie and didn't even notice Kara was now talking to her.

"Alex, Alex you ok there?" she questioned.

Suddenly Alex realised and quickly answered. "Oh yeh no i'm good did you run into any major trouble"

"No no just the usual. Are you sure your ok?"

"Huh oh yeh" Alex replied looking glum.

"Hmm i don't believe you at all anymore. Ever since you got back from Marvos last night you've been quiet. Did something happen?"

"Well..I sort of ran into someone" Alex reluctantly finally replied.

"Well who it can't be Maggie?"

Alex went silent.

"Wait you saw Maggie?"
Alex simply nodded. "What why didn't you tell me oh my what did she say are you okay?"

"Well she seemed fine but we sort of are meeting later for a catch up. Could you watch Eva?"

"Of course Alex i hope it goes okay you can go now if you want a bit of space."

"Thanks Kara but i want to spend some time with Eva today so we should head out now, but could you come for 7?"

"Yes yes of course"

"Thanks, I love you."

"Love you to."
