Alex pulled up to the alien bar her and Maggie used to go to and headed inside. There she was. Maggie Sawyer was wearing a casual white shirt, black jeans and of course her boots. She looked like she had put on a bit more makeup than usual on and had her perfectly curled hair. Alex wanted to kiss her so bad.

"Hey Danvers"

"Hey Mags"

"Eva alright?"

"Yeh shes good we went to the beach earlier and she's at home with Kara now"

"Ah I knew you would tell Kara." Alex chuckled at this. "So how have you been, how's the DEO?"

"Everything's great i'm the director of the DEO as j'ohn has stepped down. Everything's great just feels like somethings missing still. But enough about me how have you been?"

"Ah well i moved to New York after..um our departure but it wasn't for me. I had a few girlfriends here and there but nothing really worked out." Maggie clearly looked like she wanted to say something else to Alex.

"Well looks like we both haven't had much luck with love after our departure." Alex joked.

"Yeh ha it seems so."

"Listen do you want to meet Eva sometime? We can keep this as um friends?"

"Of course yeh i'm sure she's lovely."

"Great. Want to play some pool for old times sake?" Alex asked.

"Why not." Maggie smiled as she said this which made Alex wish she could take back the friends thing.

The two of them played quite a few rounds of pool, laughed quite a lot until Alex realised it was 11pm. "Oh shit I should probably go it's late."

"Yeh that's ok i should probably head back aswell got some work to do in the morning."

"Cool so do you want to come over tomorrow for dinner and to meet Eva?"

"Sounds great i'll see you at 5?"

"I'll text you the address. See you Mags." Alex walked out to her motorcycle her heart racing. She knew she still loved Maggie but Maggie didn't want kids. Well that's what she knew of.
