Marry me?

It had been 4 weeks since Eva's 9th birthday and Maggie will never forget that night. It was extraordinary. Seeing her daughter so happy and making her feel so loved, warmed her heart. But most of all it was the night she realised she wanted to marry Alexandra Danvers. Maggie had been so stuck on how to propose to her girlfriend as she wanted it to be perfect. She knew the last time Alex got to propose so it's her turn. Alex had already taken Eva into school so Maggie was having a late start to her day.

She jumped up and walked over to her draw containing her special lingerie only used on special occasions and reached to the bottom. As she reached in she pulled out a little box and then sat down while simultaneously opening it. There it was. The silver ring she wanted to put on Alex Danvers' finger. Maggie had been contemplating when to do this and figured there is no perfect time. She walked over to her side of the bed and grabbed her phone and texted Alex.

Hey want to go out tomorrow on a little date? She typed.
"I guess it's now or never." She said to herself. After hitting send she then hid the ring back in the draw. About a minute later her phone pinged. Maggie dashed to her phone as quick as could seeing the message was from Alex.

Ooo...What have you got in mind? Was the red heads response. Maggie quickly texted back.

I guess you'll have to wait and see..😏

Ah so it's a fancy night..Well what should I wear?

I'll get Kara to watch Eva don't worry. She responded.

Don't bother she's going to Ava's house for a sleepover. Alex wrote back.

Okay then have a nice dress on and be ready for 6:30.

With that Maggie started making arrangements for the big day tomorrow evening for the woman she wanted to marry.

It was the next day and around 6pm. Alex and Maggie were both getting ready but Alex insisted on getting ready separately so she was in the shower. Alex had a weird feeling like something was going to happen tonight. Her and Maggie went on dates but not like this. Usually she would get to pick everything as Alex could be fussy and then their sitter would be busy and so would Kara. She continued washing her hair as she went into a trail of thought.

In the other room Maggie had just put on her outfit. She had decided to keep it simple so Alex wouldn't get to suspicious but not to down play it. Her black dress had crisscrosses on the side exposing her tan skin and she was wearing open toe black heels. She kept her makeup minimal but also had a little more than usual on. Maggie kept wondering what Alex was wearing and really wanted to take a peak but knew Alex would get so mad. So she decided to quickly fix her hair in a half up and down so she could be done before Alex.

Meanwhile Alex had gotten out the shower and was already changed. She was wearing a blue dress with a little triangle cut on the chest. It was just above her knees like her girlfriend and had lower black heels on than Maggie. Her hair was just perfectly curled and she had some silver eyeshadow and mascara on.
"Hey babe how long till we are going."

Maggie came out of the spare room stood against the closed door.
"Oh so someone's eager."

Alex let out a little chuckle.

"We will go in 10 babe, sound good?"

"Yep. Are we doing an outfit reveal?"

"I'm ready so if you are let's do so."
