“Okay, what is Jeongguk’s deal, seriously?” Jimin asked the moment he shut the storage room door, evoking a sigh from his boyfriend with his question.

“Just tell me why you dragged me in here and don’t ask me anything you don’t want to know.”

“Why wouldn’t I want to know? I’m asking you because I want to know.”

“Jimin. You don’t.” A few slow shakes of his head came with the straight look he presented to him.

The boy clicked his tongue as he looked heavenwards, a heavy sigh seeping through his mouth. “Fine. So I wanted to ask for a favor.” A wary smile flashed up onto his lips as he inched closer. “And don’t turn it down without listening to me, okay?”

Suspicion swirled in Yoongi’s narrowed eyes as he folded his arms over his chest. “Okay.”

“So Taehyung, remember Taehyung? You met him like ten minutes ago.” Jimin tittered for no reason at all as he draped his arms over his nape, plastering a brittle smile on his lips in an attempt to muster up any sprinkling of courage he had.

“Yeah, I remember Taehyung.” Yoongi’s suspicion only mounted at his words and demeanor, already knowing for a fact that he wouldn’t like what he was about to hear.

“So Taehyung needs a place to stay—“

“No.”

“But baby—“

“Jimin, no. Don’t do this to me. Jeongguk already doesn’t like the guy!” he hissed, his jaw clenched, his brows firmly raised with his fierce gaze.

“But you didn’t even listen to me. Just listen first, okay?” he pleaded, cherubic, puppy eyes already in use, as well as the most endearing pout he could pull off.

Yoongi squeezed his eyes shut, knowing if he continued looking into those eyes he would yield in a heartbeat. “No.”

“Please?” he whispered against his lips before he pressed a lingering kiss there.

“Fuck,” Yoongi breathed out as he felt his boyfriend pepper kisses on his jawline. “Fine. Talk.”

“Okay so, Taehyung doesn’t want to live with his parents because they’re very controlling and if he stays there, they’ll monitor his every damn move. Will you please help him?”

“Baby, he can find something else.”

“No, the house is perfect! It’s just fifteen minutes away from the uni and—“

“Wait, wait, wait.” Yoongi blinked in confusion as he took a step back. “Is he gonna attend Seoul Arts and Sciences?”

“Um, yeah?”

His mouth popped open in shock as he rolled his head back. “No fucking way! Jeongguk barely agreed to bring another guy to live with us and he specifically asked for the guy to not be from our uni.”

“Screw what he wants!” Jimin growled then, a scowl sweeping across his traits. “Everything revolves around Jeongguk! Jeongguk doesn’t like this, Jeongguk doesn’t want that, I’m sick of this for fuck’s sake! Why are you so protective over him and why are you doing whatever he asks? I don’t get it.”

Yoongi's face saddened at his boyfriend’s outcry and his shoulders sank as he dragged his head down. “Look, you don’t need to get it. You only need to know that Jeongguk is special, okay? He needs us by his side, even if he doesn’t show it or asks for it, he needs us.”

“Why? What’s his problem?”

“You don’t have to know, and obviously I can’t say anything. Just please don’t be so harsh on him. Even if he’s being an ass sometimes. Don’t push back. If he’s being an ass, give him love in return and he’ll open up to you little by little.”
