It was a balmy morning after the talk they had last night for Taehyung. The younger was warming up to him, and he knew it. And he liked it. There was just something about him. Something that prevented him from keeping his distance, something that urged him to talk to him, get to know him, make sure he was okay.

He knew it had something to do with Hank. And it definitely had something to do with the main character of his novel. The character he had created had a ton of similarities with the caramel-haired boy, and he had started writing this novel four weeks ago when he hadn't even met him yet.

It amazed him how some of the character's responses were the same Jeongguk often gave him. It was fascinating and a little creepy too, to be honest.

At first, he thought it was just a coincidence, but as he reread what he had written so far, it became more and more difficult to believe that.

Wanting to seize the opportunity since he was stuck on a certain scene he was writing, he jumped to his feet and went to search for him. In the living room, he spotted only Yoongi watching TV and perched next to him.

"Where's Jeongguk?"

"Out."

"Out? It's like ten in the morning and it's Saturday. Why didn't he sleep in? He was up until late last night."

Yoongi redirected his gaze from the TV to the boy, eyes narrowing suspiciously on him. "Why are you so concerned?"

"I'm not. I'm just saying."

"You're saying too much for someone who isn't concerned."

"I just wanted to ask him something. Where is he?"

"I don't know," Yoongi muttered as he returned his attention to the screen, something that sent a flutter of doubt swimming through the violet-haired boy.

"How can you not know? He's your best friend."

"Do you know where Jimin is all the time?"

"Yes. And I don't even live with him."

Yoongi cast him a sidelong glance and heaved a sigh, crossing one leg over the other. "Well, I don't know where Jeongguk is."

"Well, I know you're lying," Taehyung said with a wry face, leading the other to click his tongue. "Anyway, call me when he comes or when the boys are here."

"You invited the others here? Today?"

Taehyung's brows drew together at the sudden question. "Yeah? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing. I just didn't know."

"You're acting weird."

"I'm not."

"Yeah," Taehyung scoffed with a shake of his head and rose from his seat, treading back to his room.

He struggled for a little while longer with the scene he had to write, but nothing worth keeping remained at the end. He decided to leave it for now and did his morning yoga in his room, of course, although he could barely see anything from the screen of his phone.

After taking a shower, he wore comfy clothes and scuttled to the living room since his friends had finally arrived. "Hey!" he squeaked and offered a big hug to each of them, a grin engraved on his lips.

"Hey, Taetae." Jimin returned the smile and caressed his back as the boy sat next to him.

"Jeongguk isn't here yet?" Taehyung questioned after taking a look around the living room.

"No," Yoongi sighed, hoping he wouldn't ask anything else.

"It's been two hours."

A moment of silence washed over the boys at Taehyung's statement as no one seemed to know what to say.
