Spider-Man: Legend Of the Spider

Beginnings and Heart-Break

Peter Parker was a normal high-schooler or so you thought that first glance, but what if I told you take he had powers. Powers that you could only dream about having. Many have picked on him over his life as you see he had a sad life, his parents died when he was young after they were involved in a plane crash after working for a top secret organisation that is known as S.H.I.E.L.D led by the amazing and somewhat frightening Nick Fury. He then lived with Aunt May and Uncle Ben and that is the way that remained for most of Peter's childhood until one day, he got bit by a radioactive Spider that had escaped from Oscorp, a top science lab located in New York and ever since that day, he had started to develop powers.

But through everything that Peter had witnessed or be involved in, the main memory that always stung him with the death of his Uncle Ben. Peter remembered it well, he had been auguring with Uncle Ben something that he has deeply regretted to this day, it resulted in Peter storming out with Uncle Ben going after him. And that is when it happened...

BANG!

Ben fell to the ground bleeding, it was clear that he had been shot. Peter ran over to him hoping that he wasn't true but it was, Ben was bleeding out. Peter knelt down trying his best not to cry but his emotions got the better off him, as all that he could do was hold Ben's hand. He hoped and prayed that an ambulance was close but it never came, he started shouting for help as people gathered watching, no dared to say a word as they knew Peter was suffering enough. He felt Ben's hand become limp and weak, Peter knew what as happening. He was crying his eyes out, as Ben started to breath more and more heavy it was like he was taking his last breath, but he turned to Peter and with the last words, he stated those famous lines. "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility".

Those words stuck with Peter on his quest to be a hero.

"May!?" Peter shouted as he jumped through his window in the middle of the night, making sure that no-one else in the apartment. They lived in a small apartment that is located in the middle of the Queens as May couldn't keep up with the bills after Ben's death, so she relocated her and Peter a place that she could afford as he didn't have the second income that Ben had brought to the table, but after a while it felt like home to both of them. There was a memory of Ben throughout the apartment, something that made both Peter and May proud. "What?" May shouted back almost half-sleep as Peter jumped down and started to change out of his spider-man suit as he noticed the door handle starting to twist, Peter started to feel his heart-beat increase as he grabbed a top from the his chair and threw it not knowing what it said on the front as it was out of desperation. The door slowly opened and Peter eyes widen as May looked at him before laughing at him. "What is it?" He questioned his aunt as she pointed to the front of her top, not knowing that it said 'Number One Hero!'.

"So how was Patrol?" May questioned Peter as he smiled at her, it still hurt her to know that he is Spider-Man but she sucked it up knowing that Peter is helping others but it killed her knowing that he could be killed at any-point in the day, she had tried to bring it up a couple of times but he had always shot her down telling her that it is for the best. "Yeah it was alright... kinda got in a fight with an Avenger..." saying it so quick that he hoped that she didn't hear him correctly, but she did. Her eyes widen as she brings her Nephew into a giant hug. Peter had been at odds with The Avengers as they had tried to force him to reveal his identity to the rest of the world, he knew that if he had revealed his identity then not only it wouldn't put himself in danger but the people that he loved and cared about, he didn't want another Uncle Ben situation on his hands. When he told them that he didn't want to reveal his identity, it caused a huge divide between The Avengers with Natasha, Wanda and Clint siding with him but Tony, Steve, Bruce all disagreeing with his view, Tony stated that that he would be with him at every-step of the way and would pay for the top security to keep the people that he loved safe.

Peter fell straight on his bed looking at the photo on his bedside it was taken at least a couple of weeks after he joined The Avengers it was him and Tony with Peter holding a Stark Award. May also looked at the picture knowing what it meant to him, she smiled weakly as she knew that Stark was a father-figure for Peter but knowing that they were disagreeing over this, she pulled her nephew into a hug to reassure him that everything would be alright.
