Rematch

Peter swung with all of his might towards the danger-zone before dropping down coming face to face with the Rhino, who smiled when he spotted the Spider, there was something more than hate it something stronger for Peter.

He looked around and noticed the whole scene had been responded by officers who were holding guns to the Rhino, he just smirked at the scene before charging straight for Spider-Man. This was the same tactic as before and Peter knew now that he had to counter it to stay alive in the battle, so he dodged it before webbing himself to the back causing the Rhino to fall straight into a brick wall.

Peter - "Seems like you are out of practise!"

The Rhino groaned before getting up at this point it was clear that Peter was going to do much more than just stopping the Rhino, he wanted to kill the man for killing May.

There was brief moment of silence before Peter dropped down to face the Rhino, who is trying to get back to his feet. Peter webbed his legs and arms to the ground before spotting his horn at fallen from the him after he crashed, he quickly webbed it to his hands before looking down at the villain with nothing more than just hate, he wanted to show him what pain felt like even if it meant killing him.

He slowly grabbed the Horn before placing it onto of Rhino's chest causing Rhino to glare at the Spider.

Rhino - "Go on kill me! Become the villain!"

Peter stood back for a moment thinking about the choice that he was making, he heard the guns getting ready to fire behind him. That was until a large jet appeared above him before Steve beamed down looking straight at Peter.

He knew what Peter was thinking of doing, everyone did. It was clear that he was sent to try and talk Peter from hurting the Rhino.

Steve - "You need to listen... what is this going to do?" 

Peter - "You don't understand! He KILLED MAY!"

At this point Peter was close to tears, it was clear that he was not ready to fight or actually become Spider-Man for a while until everything has died down or until Peter had gotten over his grief.

Steve took a step forward trying to calm Peter down but knew that it going to come down to him fighting the kid.

Steve grabbed his shield before throwing it in the direction of Peter, who just caught it before throwing it straight back at him almost throwing him back into a wall before he turned his attentions to the Rhino.

Rhino - "May! The Woman that I killed-"

Peter - "DON'T SAY HER NAME! You don't deserve..."

He felt something hit him as he was flung back, before Wanda stood next to Steve knowing what she has done might have cost her relationship with Peter but she knew that she had done it for the right reason.

The Rhino slowly laughed as Wanda and Steve walked over to it, Peter groaned before standing up and coming face to face with the pair of Avengers.

Peter - "Listen... This is revenge you know eye for an eye!"

Wanda took a step forward blocking him from getting to the Rhino. It was in that moment Peter knew that he was going to lose the battle, so he just swung away leaving Steve and Wanda to deal with The Rhino.

Tony sat around the table while Steve stood looking at the group of heroes it was clear that they were going to talk about the events of the battle earlier in which Peter was going to KILL the Rhino, it was clear that something had to be done about it.

Steve - "If we didn't have got to him... Tony he would have killed!"

Tony - "But... he's grieving!"

Steve - "No... He is acting alone and that more than anything is dangerous-"

Wanda got up from the table and walked out not wanting to hear anymore she knew that Peter was struggling she could sense it but he didn't want to worry her but now he was doing that exact thing. 

Peter slowly emerged from elevator ignoring everything before heading down the hallway almost limping it was clear that he was involved in something else, he had cuts all across his body it was a mircle that he has managed to make it this far.

Wanda spotted this and made her way over towards him.

Wanda - "Let me help you..."

Peter looked at her, it was clear that after that little fight they had with Rhino something had changed for Peter he knew that he was going to operate alone for a while. He just looked at Wanda before walking off causing her to scream after Peter.

Steve, Natasha and Tony all ran out of the room to see Wanda almost in tears before spotting the Spider-Mask on the floor. It was clear to them also that Peter has decided to give up his suit, but he left something inside for The Avengers a message if you will.

Wanda noticed it and picked it up and opened it to reveal a message that stated;

Dear Avengers

You have helped raise my game and I forever will be grateful for that, but now for a while I am going solo not only to rediscover myself but to also finally grieve the loss of May but I will be back sooner rather than later, Wanda I will love you with all of my heart but you know that things are not the same at the moment and I need time to find myself once again and return to the happy kid that everyone fell in love with.

The Avengers were close to tears as they knew that Peter had to do this not only for himself but for the good of the team as he was a risk to everyone, Wanda knew that as well but she didn't want to let go, she walked to her room and spotted a picture of them both from earlier in the summer at BBQ, she smiled before hugging the picture.

While Peter stood on the rooftop with his O.G Suit before putting everything that he made back online before KAREN'S Voice entered alongside Ned.

Ned - "Back in the chair!"

KAREN - "Hello Peter been a while..."

He smiled before jumping knowing that he was about to return to his roots but the thing that hurt him more than anything was the fact that he was leaving behind his family and friends knowing that he would only bring more danger than needed.

He looked to the sky and smiled as he chased after a car before noticed someone standing on a building watching him....
