Spider-Man: Legend Of the Spider

A Month Apart...

It has officially been months since Wanda left with Strange. Peter remained in Westview but decided to operate as Spider-Man once again to help pass the time, he became known in that time as the 'Westview Spider'. He was the symbol of hope for the town something which everyone looked up to. And in someway Westview helped Peter as it gave him the chance to be a hero once again instead of just Peter Parker.

But there was one feeling that always remained, it was that Wanda might not ever come-back or return. He didn't want to believe it as it was Wanda's idea at the end of the day that they would relocate to Westview and he didn't want to think that she has gotten rid of that thought, but sure enough that was not happening but in-fact something a lot bigger was at play.

TIME SKIP - ONE WEEK LATER

Peter was recalled back to New York after he had gotten word that Rhino, Electro and Scorpion had all been let free. He made it his personal mission to recapture them and defeat them again. But as he returned to New York it became clear that people had forgotten about Spider-Man to be honest this didn't surprise Peter as he had been operating in Westview for the past couple of weeks stopping petty crimes like thefts.

But Peter slowly made his way to the top of a building where he was told to get further instructions but as he did. Fury slowly came into eye-contact it was clear that he was pleased to see Peter suiting up once again, he smiled before looking at the Skyline.

Fury - "Glad to see that you are stepping up Spider-Man..."

Peter - "Well if Rhino, Scorpion and Electro are all free... Then I think it was cause for me to return-"

Fury - "Romanoff knows that you are here-"

Peter - "And let me guess? You have instructed her to help me?"

Fury - "Well done... Finally putting that brain into motion-"

Fury turns and faces Peter but he could tell almost in that second that something was different and something was playing on Peter's mind. 

Fury - "How's Wanda?"

Peter - "She is with Doctor Strange at the moment-"

Fury smirked to himself before looking down to see people running. 

Peter also spots this and jumps off the building before landing and looking around to find someone new and some big standing in-front of him. The man just smiles at Peter and signals for the guns to be lowered.

Peter looks at the man in confusion.

Peter - "Who are you!"

Kingpin - "You can call me Kingpin!"

Peter laughs before he is thrown into a brick-wall causing him to groan in pain slightly before we see a motorcycle in the distance heading straight for Kingpin. Peter watches as the gunmen drop the floor with bullet wounds.

Kingpin looks in the direction of the motorcycle before Natasha jumps off and throws a smile at Peter.

Natasha - "Well it seems that you can't survive with me... Baby Spider..."

Peter smirks before getting himself slowly to his feet. 

Kingpin - "Ah... An Avenger and Product of the Red-Room!"

Natasha - "Save it..."

Peter tries to web Kingpin but is thrown to the floor forcefully before he is grab by Kingpin and slammed onto the floor.

Natasha watches as Peter breaks free before running over to her.

Peter - "Plan?"

Natasha - "I thought you had a plan..."

Peter - "What!? No..."

They both charge at Kingpin knowing that he can't defeat both of them at once. But boy were they wrong.

But that all changed when anOrange Portal opened in the distance and Wanda stepped out in a new suit, is all Red. She spots Peter and Natasha almost on the verge of death, she slowly uses her powers to throw Kingpin to the side.

Peter and Natasha both look at each other shocked before spotting Wanda.

Wanda - "What are you doing here?"

Peter - "Disappointing Westview-"

Natasha smirked at that comment knowing that Clint had once said a line almost exactly the same just before a huge fight occurred.

Wanda smiled she can sense the hurt in Peter's voice, he refused to look her in the eyes but he slowly did but it was not with the passion it was just full of anger and sadness.

She placed a hand on his shoulder.

Wanda - "I thought we were good-"

Peter - "And I thought we were supposed to have contact..."

This hit Wanda for six as she looks down at the floor. It is clear to her that Peter is upset that she broke the agreement that they had before she left with Strange.

Peter turns to Natasha who has started to make some phone-calls leaving Peter and Wanda alone, there is an uncomfortable silence before Wanda puts her hand on her stomach.

Wanda - "The baby is doing fine..."

Peter - "I'm glad."

He slowly walks away before grabbing his phone, it is clear that he is dead-set on tracking down the villains that has escaped. While SHIELD agents arrived and start to arrest Kingpin, he notices Fury looking at him from a distance.

Peter slowly turns to Wanda and gives her a weak smile before giving her a hug, it is a hug that was welcoming and warm.

He breaks it before looking at her.

Wanda - "I thought that you were mad?"

Peter - "No upset... But I'm glad I've seen you-"

Wanda blushes at this before slowly turning around to see Strange looking at her to return for the last part of her training.

But there was a moment of silence as Wanda looked at Peter thinking about something, it is clear that she doesn't want to return to her training as it has emotionally effected her relationship with Peter.

Wanda closes the portal before looking at Peter before kissing him softly causing Peter to blush, it was clear that she has made up her mind.

There was something standing in the middle of a dark room before the door flies open and Electro and Rhino both emerge looking Agatha who just smiles at them.

Rhino - "We were told to come and get you!"

Agatha - "Who sent you?"

Electro - "You'll find out soon enough..."

Agatha glows purple before looking at them it is clear that she knows the plan and that it mean killing Spider-Man. Something that she didn't want to do as she knew how much Wanda thinks of him.

Yh... This is the set up for the final chapters and I know that the Avengers have been sidelined but they will be back for the final chapters
