Friends and foes

"May wake up its 8:50" Emerald said waking me up "in the morning?" I asked "yes, in the morning, silly we have to go get breakfast then we can go explore the camp" "ok let me get dressed I'll meet you outside". Emerald is very nice and kind considering she's a dragon, you would think dragons are mean creatures, but not her, she'll make friends quickly. I finished getting dressed and met her outside. She was sitting on the bench in front of the cabin "jeez you take forever, wow you look so pretty!" Emerald said smiling "thanks, you too" I replied. We walked to breakfast. There were two seats by a window, so we sat down and ate, I had pancakes and Emerald had a bagel. Once we finished we went back to our cabin to tidy up a bit. "I wonder if there are any cute guys around here" Emerald said in a very perky tone. "Maybe, we'll just have to see" I replied giggling. As we finished cleaning we herd a scream "AHH HELP ME", we ran out to see what was happening. There was a guy being beat up by kids that looked like they we part spider, they reminded of the Trouble Makers back home. Emerald flew us over and swooped down, I jumped off of her and landed on one of them Emerald had caught the other one with her tail "what do you guys think your doing?" I asked in a very mad tone "what's it look like rat" the boy Emerald had caught "why does everyone call me a rat?" I whispered "because you look like one duh" the boy I fell on replied " well FYI I'm a bear so I suggest you run or else" "or else what" they both said "would you guys like to take a trip to the tip of the tallest tree in this camp?" Emerald said "uh no, sorry, Matt we'll leave you alone, now can we go?" they said in a worried voice "yup" we said letting the boys go. That boy that was being beat up got up and left. That was fun. We went for a walk and the bell rang for lunch we rushed to the caf. There were no seats so we sat by the fire. Two guys came over and sat down on the other side of the fire, they started talking quietly, to quiet to hear them "Hello" I said to the guys "Hey I'm Jake and this is Rick", Rick looked like a bird of some kind and Jake was also a type of bear. The guys from before came over "hey sorry about before, oh I'm Dave and this is Danny" Dave said "hi" I hesitated "what do you two want now" Emerald said "we wanted to apologize" Danny said "ok you did that now please leave" I said slowly. "Hey Emerald?" "Uh ya? You okay, you lo-" I fell to the ground and passed out. " May!" Emerald fell to the ground crying in shock. Jake ran over and picked me up and Rick helped Emerald up from off the ground they rushed me over to the nurse. "Has she done this before" asked Jake "no never May said she was perfectly healthy" she said crying I could still hear everything "that's odd, wow you would think she would be heavier for a bear" Jake said "its okay, glad to help" Rick said. We arrived at the nurses office and the nurse asked them what happened "we don't know she was perfectly fine during lunch and then she suddenly passed out and we couldn't wake her up" said Jake, Rick took Emerald to the waiting room so she could calm down. Later on that night I woke up and seen IVs in my arms. Emerald, Rick and Jake sitting around me "what time is it?" I said weakly "oh my god your alive" said Emerald, it looked dark outside it must have been late "it's 9:00 o'clock" said Rick. The nurse came in "Oh I see your awake, how do you feel?" "Sore" I said "yes you will be, did you come here on you birthday?" The nurse asked "yeah, why?" "ah exactly what I thought, you just turned 13 and your body was changing into its half form, but you weren't completely transformed until this morning, so when you came through the portal you must have breathed in the chemical we have in the air to knock out any mortals that come through, but because you were still transforming it still worked on you, you'll be fine" the nurse said happily "well thank you very much" I said "you kids can stay here over night if you want and can leave in the morning" the nurse said " that would be great we are all tired we were waiting to see when you would wake up" Emerald said. The next morning we woke up and left for breakfast, I still felt a bit weak but the nurse said I would be fine. We passed Dave and Danny they were with two girls I think I herd them yesterday saying that their names were Jessica and Hannah, so I guess I made friends and foes the past couple of days. We went to the caf sat down and had a big breakfast altogether. I love my friends they are so kind I hope we will stay like this forever
