We woke up and started to pack up the blanket. We didn't have any source of heat we could use to make breakfast, so we put the blanket in the bag and started to walk trough the tunnel. We were walking and seen a light around us. "What's that?" Emerald asked "if I knew I would tell you" Rick replied. I looked down and seen that the light was coming from our hands "uh guys look at our hands, they're glowing"I said, at this point I'm shaking, of fear? Am I cold? No it's hot in the tunnel Jake and Rick seem to be fine. "Emerald what happened to you when you drank your potion the other day" I asked "I was a bit shaky" she replied. Thank god I normal but why aren't the guys shaking? Rick and Jake looked completely fine "why are we just standing here? Let's keep going!" Jake said happily. We kept walking and in the distance we seen a dim but visible light nothing light the glowing from before. It...it was an...exit! Yes we were out. "Finally" I am so happy I'm ready to scream. Emerald runs over and kisses Rick on the cheek. "Wait... WHAT" I'm so confused this went from happy to very tense and then awkward "umm...oops" Emerald is red, and I mean red, like strawberry red. Are they dating? "Uh" Rick muttered. Was he surprised? No he seemed calm. I fell down to my knees and Jake was standing overtop of me "uh May? Are you alright?" he asked "yeah I'm fine" I whispered. No I'm not fine my best friend just kissed someone we literally just met only a few days ago maybe a week. "Guys keep walking we'll catch up" Jake said quietly to Rick "k" Emerald replied she sounded sad. "May come on, we have to go" Jake said helping me up. He put his arm around my waist and I put arm around his neck. We finally caught up to Rick and Emerald. I don't want to talk I want to walk with Jake... wait what am I falling for Jake...no... I think I'm turning red, shoot I am. That cute spiky blond hair, his bright green eyes, they way his little bear ears twitch when he here's a noise. I am, I am falling for Jake... Damn!...
