Redness and Voices

I turned around so fast that I fell to the ground. Maybe I was standing to close to the edge and the wind pushed me? No, something definitely grabbed me.. "Are you okay?" Rick asked. I was sitting on the ground, staring at the ground, shocked, scared. "I-i don't know, something grabbed my shoulder" I replied with a scared tone. "Oh, what was it?" Max asked. "Well if she knew she wouldn't be so scared now, would she?" Rick replied " we would've seen what it was." Jake walked over to me and helped me up and brought me away from the edge of the canyon. We walked towards a tree and sat down. "Do you have any idea what it could have been, May?" He asked "no...it just felt like someone grabbed me by my shoulder and kinda spun me around like this" I said demonstrating what had happened. "C'mon let's not waste time!" Max said in a demanding voice. Emerald walked over to him and gave him a nasty look and said something to him, I couldn't quite hear what she said but she looked terrifying. "Take your time, take all the time in the world!" Max said really fast and scared, I have no clue what Emerald said but she did look creepy; she's always there to help me. The wind was blowing, the trees were rustling and I was beginning to calm down. Rick and Emerald left to see if there was any other way over, but when they came back they said that the only possible way was for me to levitate the rocks to make a bridge. So Jake and I got up and walked towards the edge of the canyon. I stood there, starring, starring at the bottom of the canyon I almost fell down. Jake held my hand (I felt like I was blushing) so that if I did fall he could catch me. I finished making the bridge and I was feeling pretty tired, almost like I was being forced to sleep. Next thing I knew I was sitting up in a tree with Max. "Look who's awake" he said "you passed out back at the canyon and Jake carried you here on his back. You talk in your sleep you know that right?" " I do what? I don't talk in my sleep." I stopped, now thinking of it I remember hearing voices, they weren't Jake's or the other's voices. The voices belonged to a different boy and girl and that's all I really remember. "Speaking of which where is Jake and the others?" I asked "oh yeah, some enemies came along and ambushed us, so Jake put you up hear, and I stayed back to make sure you're okay, you literally dropped to the ground Jake had to pull you back away from the edge, you almost fell off!" "Oh sorry to worry you guys. Ambushed you said? Now you know how it feels!" I said " yeah again sorry I was testing your powers for Hugo" Max looked down at the ground we seemed pretty high up maybe 10-20 ft. Jake and Emerald came back Rick soon after, they came back from different directions. Jake came up and carried me back down while Max climbed down, he fell the last 5 ft, it was funny, him falling made us all laugh a little. We gathered our things and continued to walk towards the mountains. Emerald, Rick and Max were walking ahead of Jake and I, I was still on his back "I can get off if you want I can walk now" I said "yes, but the way you have been lately I don't feel comfortable having you walk you keep passing out plus your still bandaged up from when that snake creature attacked" Jake said "Okk" I said "Emerald and Rick are cute together" i have no clue where that came from " what? Oh. Yeah sure" Jake said, I looked at his face he was red. Not as red as Emerald when she kissed Rick back in the tunnel. "Are you okay you look red?" I asked "uh..yeah sure" he seems upset now. "Max said I was talking?" I asked Jake "yeah you were saying that you never knew something and that you didn't know where to go" great I do talk I hope I don't say anything about me liking Jake. "It's okay though" Jake continued "your cute when your asleep" I blushed look who's blushing now...me...damn... Jake doesn't seem upset now. "HEY GUYS LETS REST HERE OKAY?" Emerald yelled "K" Jake replied we walked over to them and he put me down. "Now your the one who's red" he said smiling "stop" I said smiling and covering my face...
