My Fear of Water

It was early in the morning when Emerald and I woke up, the guys weren't awake yet, so Emerald and I thought it would be nice if we made breakfast for everyone. Emerald made eggs and bacon and I made pancakes and waffles. We went over to the guys room but stopped outside their door, we could hear them talking "mmm what's that smell?"Rick asked Jake Dunno" that's all we could really hear. *knock knock* "foods ready" I say knocking on the door. "Okay we'll be out in a sec" Jake replied. Emerald and I woke up Hugo and Max as well and we sat down at the table and waited for the Rick and Jake to come out of their room. Finally the two came out of their room. Rick walked over to Emerald and kissed her on the cheek and sat down beside her and Jake walked over and sat beside Max. Is he mad at me? Why are they so chummy all of the sudden? Ugh guys can be so confusing..."stop falling for him" I say in my head but it doesn't work very well, his smile, laugh, eyes, the way his little bear ears twitch to a sudden sound... Anyways moving on... I think...yeah anyways, after breakfast we went out to the back where there was this giant obstacle course that we had to do it was really long so I couldn't see the end. "Okay so something in this course are climbing running jumping and...swimming" Hugo explained. Water is my biggest fear I hate water so much. Even flying over water scares me. I suddenly drop to the ground and sit there... They all turned to look at me. Jake walked over "it's the water isn't it?" He asks, I nodded. "What's wrong?" Hugo asked "she's afraid of the water" Jake answered "oh..well..if she doesn't do that part she'll fail the course" Hugo said "you can't make someone do something they're afraid to do" Emerald snapped "can one of us go with her" Rick asked "I don't see why not..." Hugo continued. I look up at Rick, Emerald and Jake, Max walk to the course and waited at the end for one of them to go. "K well who's going with her?" Hugo asked "Jake" Rick and Emerald said looking at each other and then Jake. "Uh ok" he said helping me up.  Rick went to the beginning of the course. We are all being timed "Go" Hugo shouted. Rick bolted off  climbing ladders, jumping off of platforms, crawling under ropes, and then swimming... Emerald went next. Once I couldn't see her I started to panic because I knew I had to go next. "You all right?" Jake asked "not really but I'll live...hopefully" I said tapping my hand on my leg. Jake and I walked over to the start "GO" Hugo yelled, it startled me. I looked at Jake and he smiled at me. So then for some reason I stood there and said "race ya" and then ran off "what!?" I heard Jake said and then I heard his feet hit the ground. I got to the latter and started to climb. There was a plank of wood you'd have to walk across and at the end was a platform. I looked down and jump. Once I hit the ground I kinda rolled I looked back and Jake was walking across I started to crawl under the ropes in the mud, I made it through to the other side and stood up...there was the water... Jake got up and looked at me.."you still okay?" He asked "yeah" I said but in reality I was panicking. Jake jumped into the water turned around and looked at me I sat down and slowly got in. The water was really deep, Jake took my hand and was holding it really tight. I laid down on my stomach and started kicking my feet. He would swim beside me holding my hand, honestly I felt like I was four. It felt like five minutes but it only took me 45 seconds to swim across. Once I got across I quickly jumped out of the water and laid down on my back. Jake climbed out and sat beside me. "See you did it" he said. Hey! I did do it! I swam! I didn't die! I sat up and threw myself at Jake hugging him, causing him to fall back. Emerald and rick started laughing "you two are so cute" Emerald said. I sat back up, stood up and walked over to her. I pulled her towards the water and pushed her in. Rick came and jumped in too. I was splashing Emerald and Rick. I looked over at Jake and he was sitting there looking at me smiling. I went under the water and swam in his direction. I came up and pulled him in. We were all swimming and splashing each others do having fun but I looked over and  Hugo and Max were talking. I got out and walked over to them. "Is everything okay?" I asked "May come with me for a minute" Max said taking my arm "um k?" We walked away from everyone else "where are we going?" I didn't recognize the surroundings we were walking in a forest and he stopped I turned to look at him and then...
