Movie at Hugo the Master of Spells' house

We walked into Hugo's house, Max had gotten chairs set up for us, so we sat down "I bet you are wondering why you are here" Hugo said with his deep voice "yeah kinda" I replied "as Max told you, the person who carries this necklace will be given great power, just so happens that you are the person who's holding it" Hugo continued " yeah so why are we here?" Emerald asked "to test your powers" Max commented "as you know Hugo is called the 'Master of Spells', because of his ability to train those with magical energy, whether they were born with it or were trained in the magical field, whatever the case, Master Hugo is the-" "Max that's enough" Hugo cut Max off. "So what are we doing now?" Rick asked "a series of challenges to test your  strengths, weaknesses and your use of magical abilities" Max explained. "It all starts in the morning" Hugo said "your rooms are  that way". We walked down a hallway and saw two rooms, one for the guys and one for Emerald and I. We went into our rooms to put our stuff away. Emerald and I changed into pyjamas and came back out. Max and Hugo had set up a movie for all of us to watch. Emerald and Rick sat together and Max, Hugo and Jake sat together. I sat by myself at a table with my sketchbook and began to draw. I drew a girl on a swing and a boy pushing her. I don't find movies that interesting really. I didn't even know what movie they were watching. All I knew is that Emerald and Rick were being all lovey dovey with each other. Jake kept looking back at me, seeing what I was doing. "Anyone want a drinking" Jake asked "sure" 'Max said Jake got up and walked towards the fridge "whatcha drawing, May?" He asked, "nothing really" I said "I'm really bored, I don't usually watch movies" "really? Do you not like movies or something? This movie's great!" He said sitting down beside me, I quickly closed my book "yeah? Really? What's it called?" "Daredevil, come watch it" "why? I don't usually watch them" "fine how about.. If I can guess what you drew, you come sit with me and watch the movie?" "Fine, go ahead, guess" I'm tempted to hear what he says "let's see" he's looking at me and not my book? "A girl on a swing... being pushed by a boy" "you saw..." "No I did not!" He laughed "come on, come watch" he says grabbing my hand and bringing me to the blanket where he was sitting. I laid down on my stomach and began to watch the movie. Emerald had fallen asleep on Rick and Max was passed out on the couch, Hugo, Rick , Jake and I were still watching the movie, until... I fell asleep... When the movie was over Jake woke me up "May...May.. Wake up. The movies over" he said pushing my on shoulder "hm? Wha? I'm awake" I said "no you're not, you fell asleep awhile ago." Said picking me up of the ground "we have to go to sleep, we have training in the morning" Rick said "true, c'mon May" him and Rick take Emerald and I to our room and laid us down then left. Honestly something still feels off about Hugo, it seems that he's hiding something, ever time I look at him he's starring at my necklace...he's not going to try and take it is he?
