The day after the incident with Jungkook kissing Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung walked into the school smiling as she thought about what had happened the day before. Why wouldn't she? She got see a whole new side to the super timid boy she had known for 6 years.
"Chaeyoung, snap out of it," came the voice of very grumpy Lisa."Did you even pay attention to what I was saying?"
"O-oh, no Lisa, I'm sorry," apologized Chaeyoung as she snapped back to reality."Anyway, what were you talking about?"
"Oh no Missy," said Lisa as she looked at Chaeyoung with a questioning look,"you aren't changing the subject that easily. What were you thinking about that was making you smile? Were you thinking about Jungkook?"
When Chaeyoung didn't answer right away, Lisa's once serious look turned into a mischievous smirk. Chaeyoung knew that, out of all of her friends, the one person who she couldn't hide anything from for long was Lisa.
"Alright, I'll tell you," said Chaeyoung as she let out a sigh and rolled her eyes."However, I want you to let me tell the others on my own, okay?"
"Yes Ma'am," answered Lisa as she lifted her hand in sign of a salute.
Chaeyoung proceeded to tell Lisa the story of what happened the day before, getting interrupted by Lisa's reactions everytime something juicy happened.
"I can't believe he can sing," said Lisa as she and Chaeyoung walked together.
"Me either," admitted Chaeyoung."If only I hadn't gone in and stopped him, I could have listened to him more."
"Hey Chaeyoung," came a voice from in front of them. When Chaeyoung turned to the voice, she saw a guy that she was really not in the mood to see.
"Hello Jaehyun," she replied as she looked at him with an irritated look,"is there something you need?"
There is a very justified reason to why she doesn't want to talk to him and is very angry. The reason is that Jaehyun cheated on her three months ago. They had been dating for almost a year before she found him hugging and kissing another girl in the hallway near the back of the school. She hasn't let him even near her since and has yet to truly forgive him.
"Chaeyoung, I kow you feel wronged, and I am truly sorry," he started, sadness in his eyes,"but can't you at least let me explain myself and what happened?"
"No Jaehyun, I won't" replied Chaeyoung, her voice struggling to keep the anger inside."let's go Lisa, we're gonna be late."
Jaehyun let out sigh as he heard her footsteps slowly fade behind him and decided it was time to walk to class.
Later that day...
At around lunch time Chaeyoung noticed something odd, she couldn't find Jungkook anywhere. This was odd to her because they shared half of their class periods during the day, so she saw pretty much all day long. She decided that she would text him after school to see if he was okay. After all, they did have a date later during the week, so messaging him would be smart.

Jungkook sat up from his bed as he tried to find the strength to make his way to the bathroom. After yesterday's events, he barely got any sleep. During the time he didn't get any sleep, he stepped outside with only shorts and a t-shirt. He stood outside staring up at the stars from his backyard at around 1:00 a.m. as he thought about what happened. He was so zoned out that when he finally went back in side, it was 3:00 a.m. and he was finally tired enough to fall asleep. That morning he woke up with a fever and his and his mom and dad on business trips.
