Chapter 6

Two days had passed and it was officially Monday morning at school. Both Chaeyoung and Jungkook met up outside the school and were talking and laughing as they were walking in. After their date, the two of them were texting and talking over the phone whenever they had the time to, deepening their friendship more those two days.

As they were walking into the school, Chaeyoung noticed that Jaehyun was coming closer, making her stop and look at him as he came closer. Jungkook noticed and stopped to look at him, too, his expression going from a smile and laughs to a serious and aggressive expression.

"Hey, Chaeyoung-" Jaehyun cut himself off when he noticed Jungkook standing next to her."Oh sorry, I didn't notice you there."

"Hello Jaehyun," said Chaeyoung as she looked at him with an uniterested look."The guy standing next to me here is Jungkook."

Jungkook bowed and greeted him with an awkward smile that he faked so he didn't look like a jerk. Jungkook was so angry to look at him, but showing that his presence didn't affect him was the best way to play on the fact that they didn't know each other. Jaehyun returned the greeting uninterested

"Anyways Chaeyoung," said Jaehyun after he greeted Jungkook,"can we please talk?"

Chaeyoung wanted to not talk to Jaehyun at all, and her facial expression showed that this was very apparent. Jungkook was hesitant to let her go talk with him alone, but stopping could only cause more problems for everyone.

"Don't worry Chaeyoung, I'll be right here waiting for you," he said to Chaeyoung so she knew he was looking out for her. His concern for her was showing in his eyes and yet he was prepared to let her talk Jaehyun and stand by for her, showing he cares but doesn't want to be over protective. Once again, Jungkook touched Chaeyoung's heart and made her feel special.

"Okay, I'll be right back Jungkook," she said as she looked to Jaehyun and left with him, walking to separate area of the hallway, but still where Jungkook could see.

"Hey Jungkook," called a voice form behind,"whatcha looking at?"

Jungkook turned to see Jimin and Taehyung walking together towards him. They both knew Jungkook and Chaeyoung's current relationship, mainly because they were asking them nonstop for 10 minutes, not giving them the chance to truly breathe.

"Hey guys, I'm just watching and waiting for Chaeyoung-"Jungkook was cut off immediately after they saw who Chaeyoung was talking to.

"Jungkook," said Jimin, anger seeping through every word he spoke,"why is my sister talking to that piece of shit?"

Jungkook's feeling on the matter of Chaeyoung being cheated on by Jaehyun were only second to Jimin's. When he found out he punched a hole in his wall out of sheer anger. If it weren't for the fact that his sister stopped him, Jaehyun would have been dead before Jungkook even found out. Because of this, Jungkook saw Jimin's truly angry side and that was something that Jungkook wanted to never see again.

"Jimin, I hate him too," Jungkook began, trying his best to reason with Jimin,"but denying him right to talk to her isn't my business, it's her decision. I'll let her talk to him and if anything happens, I'll step in."

Jimin was still angry and was trying not to explode and do something rash, but Jungkook's words reassured him and gave him a reason to calm down. He was willing to let Chaeyoung talk if Jungkook trusted it.

However that plan changed when they looked back at them. What Jungkook saw was the one thing he wouldn't forgive Jaehyun for if he did it. He saw Jaehyun grab Chaeyoung's wrist with force, and his instincts pushed him with great force to get to her fast. If Jungkook weren't trying to be reasonable and stay rational, Jaehyun would be pleading for mercy from him.
