"looks like you can stay," said Jungkook as he looked at Chaeyoung with an innocent bunny smile. He had been talking to Jimin over the phone so they could better understand the situation that Chaeyoung was in. The fact that Chaeyoung could stay didn't completely baffle her because her house was about a 20 minute drive from Jungkook's. The reason for this is because she lived 10 minutes away from the school in the opposite direction.
After sorting out all the details of what was going to happen, Chaeyoung realized that she forgot to do something before this happened. She hadn't checked to see how Jungkook was doing.
"So Jungkook," she said with more enthusiastic tone,"how are feeling now after some rest?"
"Oh yeah," he replied as it finally dawned on him,"I am doing much better Chaeyoung, thank you."
"Well, before we go jumping to conclusions," she said as she picked herself up from the couch and walked over to him,"let's check your temperature."
She remembered that she had left the thermometer in his room, so she'd have to walk there to get a reliable answer for his fever. So, instead of walking to his room right away, she nonchalantly put the back of her hand on his forehead. She was too focused on the heat of his forehead to notice that he had hitched his breath, and that he didn't breath at all as she held her hand there.
When she put her hand down, she gave him a big smile."Your fever seems to be gone," she said, joy very evident in her speech."I'll make sure to check it later with the thermometer, so rest easy for now."
"Okay, will do," he replied, the smile on his face very soft and warm. Jungkook was truly happy that she was there with him. He did want to object to the fact that she told him to rest when she was his guest, but he just couldn't say no to her.
When she excused herself so she could begin making dinner, Jungkook nodded to her and sat down on the couch. He knew that if he were to see her cooking he wouldn't be able to contain himself.
That's when it dawned on him. Not only has he gotten much closer to Chaeyoung in the past 4 days, but he is also letting her sleepover at his house on her first ever visit. This would be the first time a girl has stayed the night at his house. This revelation caused emotions of so many kinds to explode inside of him. The girl he's had a crush on for 6 years is going to be the first girl to stay over at his house, and his parents weren't even home.
Jungkook realized something in that moment that changed his life. He realized that he didn't like Chaeyoung at all. No, he loves Chaeyoung and wants her to be his and nobody else's. This girl was his everything.

After eating dinner and having a nice chat with each other, Chaeyoung and Jungkook got to the topic of her staying the night. This topic was very hard to talk about since it was very awkward for both of them.
At first, the only thing Jungkook could think about was where she was going to sleep. He didn't want her sleeping on the couch, but his parents' room wasn't very clean and the guest room was also not very accessable. The only option left would be his room, meaning he would have to sleep on the couch. However, if the past 4 days taught him anything, it's that Chaeyoung was too sweet for her own good.
"So Chaeyoung," began Jungkook, ending the awkward silence they had been in for a good minute,"do you want to get cleaned up? If so I'll show you where the bathroom is."
"Yes, I would love that," she replied, thanking him internally for saying it first.
When they reached the bathroom, Jungkook showed her where the towels and extra toothbrush were so she could get cleaned up. After that he left and went to his room to tidy it up a little. He knew that his plan to have her sleep in his room might not work, but he was at least going to try. She had been helping him since she got to his house. The least he could do was offer her a comfortable place to sleep.
