I sighed looking at the ring on my finger. Did I make the wrong choice? Maybe I should've said no. Stop. I made the right decision. I did what was best for me and my kids. And that's marrying Kita.
" Mommyyy" Anya ran into my room holding up a hair brush.
" Auntie Kawa sucks at doing hair. Can you do it for me? " She climbed up into the chair. I laughed a little taking the brush from her hand. Her hair started off black like mine, but as she grew it lightened to a Bokuto gray. Her eyes always stayed blue like her mothers. Which I was thankful for.
" So Kita is really becoming my new Papa? " She asked as I sectioned off her waves.
" Yeah. He is. But Bokuto will still be your dad no matter what" I kissed her cheek wrapping the braids around a bun. She giggled a little holding still while I secured everything with bobby pins.
    " I love you Anya "
" I love you too mommy " She smiled. I smiled slightly then pulled her into a hug.
" I really do Anya. No matter what happens you're still my little girl. I'll never stop loving you my sweet little velvet red" I let go of her watching her turn around and run to go bother Kageyama with Hinata. I sighed walking over to the vanity. I looked at myself forcing a smile. My reflection smiling back.
" You look beautiful! God I wish I was pretty like you " Suga sighed walking in to hand me my flowers.
" Is it really almost time? " I asked taking his hand.
" Yep. Soon you'll be marrying Kita, and getting the fairytale you deserve " He nodded giving my hand a squeeze.
" Happily ever after " I smiled as we made our way to the edge of the isle. I watched Anya and Hinata skip down together tossing flowers giggling as they did. Then the music started. Suga walked holding my hand as we made our way down the isle.
" Deja vu " He whispered earning a small giggle from me. He handed my hand to Kita then gave a nod to kita. He kissed my cheek then went next to Daichi. I felt my heart start racing when I looked at him. He gave a warm smile meaning it was all gonna be ok.
" Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today. To celebrate the wedding of Keiji Akaashi and Shinsuke Kita. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.' The Bible says nothing of what love should be between. It only tells what love is, how it works in strange ways. These two serve as that. Two men who found love within eachother. Looking past all the discrimination they would face. That is true bravery. So now. Kita may you please state your vows" The pastor gave kita nod to go ahead. He took in a breath then squeezed my hand tightly.
" Where to start? " He gave a nervous laugh. " I guess after I took you home from the bar, and no it wasn't any funny business. I knew something was special about you. Maybe it was the way your eyes looked as you drifted off to sleep. Or how you whispered I love you in my ear. I'm not sure. But I'm sure that I love you as well Akaashi. And I love your kids as if they were my own. We may never have our own kids. But helping you raise Tsuki, Hinata, and Anya. Is something truly special. I couldn't think of what my life would be without you four it... I know I don't have much to offer. I'm a simple rice farmer. But I will give you all my love Akaashi " He smiled dabbing away his tears.
" Sh-shit"I mummbled finding myself crying. He took his thumb brushing them away.
" Akaashi " The pastor turned towards me.
" 'A great marriage is not when the ‘perfect couple’ comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.' – Dave Meurer.. I want to focus on the word imperfect. We're all imperative, but if you pick a part the word it's says ' I'm perfect' and that is true when talking about you Kita. I was broken beyond repair. Living day to day wondering if I could pay the light bill. Or if my kids would get hurt cause of my stupid actions. That all changed when I looked at you that night. All my worries, and troubles melted away when you kissed me. This is for perfect life I never knew existed. And I thank you for taking a chance on my broken heart.. And being able to fix it again. Thank you Kita.. For showing me how to love again " I spoke through tears. I kissed his cheek then nodded for the pastor to continue.
" The rings" He stated. Tsuki came towards us. Having to be dragged by Yamaguchi. Thank you Yams for dealing with my son. They stopped at us handing the rings over.
    " I Keiji Akaashi"
" I Keiji Akaashi " I spoke softly. My anxiety racing something was about to happen
   " Take you. Kita Shinsuke"
" Take you Kita Shinsuke" I tried to keep my focus on kita
" To be lawfully wedded husband "
" To be lawfully wedded husband " I stated
" To have and to hold. In sickness and in health. Till death do us part"
" To have and to hold. In sickness and in health. Till death do us part"  The pastor nodded giving me the ok to our the ring on his finger. Then it went to Kita.
" Repeat after me Kita. I Kita Shinsuke "
" I Kita Shinsuke " He smiled softly.
   " Take you. Keiji Akaashi"
" Take you Keiji Akaashi "
" To be lawfully wedded husband "
" To be lawfully wedded husband " Kita repeated.
" To have and to hold. In sickness and in health. Till death do us part"
" To have and to hold. In sickness and in health. Till death do us part"  He smiled putting my ring.
" To any who object. Speak now or forever hold your peace" We waited.. Nothing.
" It is with the power vested in me that I pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kissed the gro-"
" I OBJECT! " someone yelled from the back standing up. We all turned to see who it was. My heart sank.
   " I object "
