first kisses and cookies

They pulled away, sparks flying in Philip's chest as he stared into the eyes of his first kiss. Theo grinned at him which made Philip smile softly.
"What just happened?"
Both teens snapped their heads around, looking at a shocked Burr as he stood in the doorway holding a plate of cookies.
"Well um I'm gonna leave these here and then I'm gonna go and leave you to it and uh use protection."
"Daaad." Theodosia groaned will Philip's face turned red with embarrassment. Burr set the cookies on the floor and backed out of the room.
The room was filled with a comfortable silence apart from the crunching as the kids ate the cookies.
"I should go." Philip said, standing up.
"Are you sure? Do you need a ride."
"Nah ill be fine." He said
"See you at school."
"Yeah, see you at school."
Philip waved at aaron before heading out the front door and walking the 20 mins home.
He pushed open the front door of his own house, looking sad and ugly in comparison to the Burr's big clean house.
His dad was sat on the floor of the living room, playing with his hands, the sofa was gone.
"Where's the sofa?" Philip frowned
Alex looked up
"I don't know."
Philip shook his head and tossed the pot noodles into the microwave.
His dad often had episodes like this but he just had to wait it out.
Philip shoved a pot noodle and a spoon into his fathers hands and stomped upstairs. He laid back onto his bed, his mind still racing and processing that fact that he had just kissed Theodosia burr.
Wow.
