Chapter 4: After Thoughts

Nia's POV

Right after Jasper told me he was going to come over Winter Break I couldn't hold my excitement in. I screamed at the top of my lungs and started jumping up and down on my bed like I just got free food. The time was finally coming where I get to meet my internet best friend.

I started rushing around my room cleaning up the little spots and folding my clothes putting them properly in their drawers. Throwing all the scattered clothes on the ground in their correct place which is the hamper. I organized all my little necessities in order. I practically went OCD all over the place.

When I went to go check the time it read 2:29. I nearly pooped my pants I need to go to bed before I get all cranky getting up for school. I slipped into my bed wrapping myself up like a burrito and fell immediately asleep. All I could dream about was Jasper.

I woke up, did my normal routine and drove to go pick up Jasper from the airport. I was a nervous wreak I couldn't think straight. What happens if it's awkward? What happens if he doesn't like me after all? Too many things were flowing through my mind.

I showed up to the airport and parked my car and walked to the area where he said he would come out of. I was waiting for it seemed like an hour which was really only 10 minutes when I heard my name.

I turned around and there showed up a 30 year old man rushing over to me with open arms. I moved quickly to the side before he could hug me. I was in total shock because I facetimed him before and it was someone else I'm guessing.

"Nikki? It's me Jasper?!"

"Your not Jasper who are you?!"

"Oh about that... It was my nephew Zayden"

"So it really wasn't you? The person who I fell in love with? Just your nephew?!"

"Yeah but don't you love me still?"

"No! How could you do this to me! I was expecting a freshman in college but no I get this middle aged man running up to me getting ready to hug me!"

I started to cry and that's when I woke up. I looked around my room and checked my phone it was only 4:35 I still had 3 more hours before school started. I was disoriented so I walked downstairs and grabbed a cup of water confirming that Jasper wasn't a 30 year old man and was really a 19 year old.

I went back to bed but I kept tossing and turning not being able to fall back asleep. What if Jasper isn't who he really says he is?
