It was 9pm, the sun had just set and you were almost done with your job. You worked at the Nightly Double drive-in movie theatre. Tonight, you were working in the ticket booth.
You weren't planning on staying for the movie, for you hadn't been in the best mood lately. After a few more minutes, the sun was set and you were down to the last of the line.
You never really paid any attention to the drivers, and almost completely missed this one. Dallas Winston was driving a red Thunderbird—Buck Merrill's car.
"Hey Darlin', where's my kiss?" He leaned toward you as close as he could. You hung out of the booth window. Dallas kissed your lips, then your cheek, and took a hit from the cigarette between his fingers.
"C'mon kid!" A man in the car behind yelled angrily. Dallas gave him the finger and kissed you again.
"You ain't gonna make me pay. Right, Sweetheart?" The corner of his lip turned upward and you shook your head. "Good 'cause I ain't got any money. Come meet me when you're done."
"Okay," you kissed his cheek and he drove off to park for the movie.
