Why did everything have to be so difficult with boys? First, they like you, then they don't. What was so hard about just being nice? Yesterday you were texting Louis and to be completely honest, he was sort of flirting with you. Today however when you said hi to him in the morning before school started he gave a small wave and walked away. You stood there confused. After a few seconds realization hit you that he probably didn't like you after all. You knocked some sense into yourself and walked to class.
You smacked yourself mentally when you realized that you had classes with Louis. Well, at least not your first one. The one-minute bell rang and you took your seat next to (f/n). Since the chapter was over you guys usually had a free day after the test and so you and (f/n) talked about Louis and her own crush, Finn. Finn and (f/n) have already been on a few dates and are really cute you must say. "I think you and Louis should just date already. We could go on a double date.", (f/n) says with a sigh. "Don't you think if I could I would (f/n). We were texting last night and then when I said hi this morning he barely even acknowledged me." (f/n) pouted a little for sympathy and said, "Well maybe he wants some space. He's probably not ready to be clingy with someone." You replied with a sigh and nodded, "Okay I guess I'll leave him be until he's ready to talk again." "Good."
The bell rang eventually and you headed to your next class which flew by fast but then your next class was with Louis. It was going to be hard to ignore him. Those butterflies exploded in your stomach and when you guys looked at each other his eyes would only stare right into your soul it felt like. The worst part however to ignoring him was you couldn't. He sat only two seats away from you. You walked into class and sat down. You were one of the first ones there since the short walk and you waited for the bell to ring. You watched as everybody walked in and as (c/n) walked in everything seemed to slow down. He had that smile on his face. He was in the middle of a conversation with his friend and you could hear his laugh. Oh gosh, his laugh. His friend sat on the other side of the room. Louis walked to your side and sat down, not even taking a glance at you. The bell rang and you noticed the girl that usually sits between you two isn't here. Great. Now you probably were going to have to talk to him.
The classwork was a vocab worksheet and most the time the teacher let you guys work with people around you. "Hey (y/n) do you want to work together on this." You turned to see Louis looking at you. You were shocked he would talk to you after this morning so you only nodded. He scooted to the chair next to yours and he started working on it. You sat there staring at your paper. You could only think why was he talking to you now? You suddenly felt a poke on your side and squirmed. You heard Louis laughing and you looked at him. "Well don't just sit there and look at the paper," he says with a laugh. "I'm sorry drama queen." You say with your hands up in defense. "Oh please sassy pants." You now were laughing. You said, "really. Sassy pants was that the best you could think of." Before Louis could speak he was interrupted by your teacher telling you guys to be quiet. You both go to work, occasionally helping each other out. In twenty minutes you both were finally finished and the bell rang just in time.
Later that night you and Louis texted. He was being his regular self and you were so confused. You told (f/n) about everything that's happened and she thought that maybe he was nervous talking to you in person. You doubt that was it.
It was Friday finally and you were on your way to eat lunch at the cafeteria. You sat with (f/n) and a few other friends. (f/n) interrupted your thoughts about Louis by saying, "I think you should ask him to hang out." "I can't do that. He probably only sees me as a friend. Let's just not talk about it."
You and (f/n) were talking about the funfair and also getting ready for it at the same time. You got a text from Louis saying they were going to pick you up at 5:00. It was only a five-minute walk so it would be easier that way. Apparently, (f/n) and Louis planned a whole double date so it would be less nerve-wracking.
You and (f/n) were just sitting on the couch just watching tv when the doorbell rang. You opened it and saw Louis standing there with Finn. (y/f) immediately walked to Finn and gave him a hug and a small peck on the lips. "Hi", Louis said to you as you closed the door. "Hi Louis". He grabs your hand and you guys continued your conversation like usual times and were walking down the sidewalk side by side.
The funfair was a blast. The rides were so fun. You guys were all standing in line for the Ferris wheel and it started to get a little chilly so you wrapped your arms around your self.
I was about to move forward into the line when I felt a body clash into mine. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me to keep me from falling. I looked up and saw Louis with a nervous look on his face. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, (f/n) pushed me." You both looked at (f/n) and she acted like it was no big deal. "What? You looked cold. I'm just trying to help out", she said while shrugging her shoulders. Louis looked back at you and asked, "are you okay?" You nodded and kept your arms around Louis as he tightened his grip on you.
The top of the Ferris wheel was beautiful. His shoulder was around yours and you couldn't be happier.
After you guys got off it was about time to go home. The walk was mostly silent since everybody was tired. Finn gave (y/f) a piggyback ride halfway through the walk which was pretty funny. You all got to your house and Finn and (y/f) were basically making out. Her arms were wrapped around his neck, trying to pull him as close as possible. "I had a really fun time (y/n). I want us to be more than friends. I get so nervous being around you sometimes because I'm scared of doing something embarrassing. So basically what I'm trying to say is, will you be mine?" You didn't speak. You stepped on his toes and gave him a kiss on the lips.
He tilted his head to get you as close as possible.
Once you both broke apart a smile was on his face and he just held you closer. He hugged you closer breathing in the scent of your hair. You didn't want to let go. Finally after a few minutes (f/n) said goodbye to Finn one last time. You found this as your cue you had to actually go and detached yourself from Louis and then you and (f/n) went inside, going to sleep and both being the happiest girls in the world.
