The twin princes arrived on the surface and saw a spectacular ship. They smiled, neither had seen a boat before.
"There you two are." Smiled Noctis as he surfaced.
"What're you lookin—" Cloud started then froze at the sight of the ship, terrified. "Oh my God!" He gasped, not noticing the trio of princes swimming towards the ship.

They had a peep and saw four Mobians on the boat: two hedgehogs, an echidna and a fox. Mario froze at the sight of the hedgehog boy, petrified by it's beauty.
'How strange...' Mario thought, placing two hands on his chest, 'I feel so... warm inside...'
Luigi saw his brother blushing and instantly pulled him underwater.
"Bro," Luigi told him, "Do you have a crush on that Mobian?"
"I guess so..." Mario answered honestly, still blushing. Luigi was going to get angry when he remembered their parents telling them that once someone falls in love, they become very happy. Luigi hates seeing his twin sorrowful, so he dropped the topic and swam to snoop on the boat more.

"Attention!" Amy called to the crew and her brother, causing their eyes to turn to her. "Thank you. Sonic, since it's your birthday, my friends and I have contributed enough money to construct a special present. Happy birthday, big brother!" She smiled, unveiling a statue of Sonic.

"It's, er, beautiful, Amy." Sonic faked a smile, not wanting to offend his sister and her poor present choices.
"I can see all that money was worth it, your highness." Knuckles said sarcastically. Tails just shrugged, not saying anything.
Ignoring the red sailor, Amy hugged her brother and said, "I knew you'd love it! I had the design done after the tuxedo you'll wear when you finally choose someone to marry."
'Here we go again.' Tails thought as he went to check the sky for clouds.
"Amy," Sonic smiled a jokey smile as he hugged his sister back, "You know I don't see girls that way."
"But Sonic," Amy pulled away from her brother, "You know the law. You must marry by your twentieth birthday or Mother will give Mobius to me."
Sonic huffed, "Is this because I turned down the princess of Metropolis?"
"Well, she was very beautiful, Sonic. What wasn't to love?"
"The fact that she can fly and I can't? Trust me, Amy. Someday I'll find a dude who loves me for me, not my title."
"But how will you know?"
"Oh, I'll know. It'll hit me... like lightning."
As if on cue, thunder started to sound and black clouds were looming in the distance.
"A storm's coming!" Tails called to the crew and royals, whom all did what anyone would do in an approaching storm...
