26: Riders

"Alright, the next distortion is here." Rin stated. "And right in the courtyard of my school..." she muttered.

Rin stood with Luvia, Miyu and Illya. Miyu was in her magical girl outfit, along with Illya. Illya's outfit was mostly pink, with two pink ties in her hair, one per side. Her pink dress and pink boots were accented with her white gloves.

"You go to this school?" Asked Luvia.

"Yes. It's my cover for being at Fuyuki." Rin stated, before whispering to herself, "And I get to spend time with him..."

"I can't wait to transfer there when the second semester starts. Ohohoho!" Luvia laughed.

Rin sighed. "Great..."

"Alright, are you two ready?" Asked Rin, looking towards the two magical girls.

They nodded, before high-fiving each other. They had been practicing in their spare time, especially Illya, to be ready to for this moment.

Miyu extended Sapphire. "Expanding all alternate realities!" A voice rang from the Kaleidostick. "Transporting to Mirror World!" A magic circle appeared under them, before transporting them to the mirror world.

"Wow..." Illya muttered, it being the first time she had been there. They stood alone in the courtyard, no sight of the servant.

"Where is it...?" Muttered Rin.

A portal appeared a short distance in front of them. Out from the portal crawled out a woman strikingly similar to Sakura's servant. It's mask that covered the eyes was different, but otherwise than that there were no major differences.

"Medusa...?" Muttered Rin, confused.

"Go get them!" Yelled Luvia, causing the two to run opposite directions, trying to get on opposite sides of the servant.

The servant revealed chains which attached to nails, and swung them around. Illya and Miyu ducked as the nails swung over them.

"She has long range!" Yelled out Rin. "Try to get up close.

The two ten year old girls looked at Rin and nodded, before rushing towards the Rider. It launched it's two nails at Miyu, who easily slid between them, effectively dodging them and getting closer.

Yanking them back, she then spun around and shot them at Illya, only for Illya to hop to the side, causing the chains to go flying by her.

As Miyu got close, she shot a blast of mana at Rider. Rider quickly dodged it, before jumping backwards and creating distance between them.

Illya quickly ran up next to Miyu, facing the servant across from them. The two aimed their wands, and tried a blast from farther away. As they expected, the Rider easily dodged the two blasts.

"What should we do?" Asked Illya.

"Stall her. I may have an idea." Miyu requested.

Illya nodded, determined. "Got it!" She grinned.

She ran at the Rider, shooting multiple blasts of mana at the servant. The servant dodged, before throwing the nail at Illya.

"Woah!" Illya exclaimed as she clumsily hopped out of the way. The nail flew past her before being yanked back by Rider.

Shooting more blasts of mana, Rider again threw her nail at Illya. They were at a stalemate, neither could get closer without risking being hit by the other's ranges weapon.

"Install." Miyu said, holding the lancer card over Sapphire. Luvia had told her that the Kaleidostick could do this, but had never tried.

The wand in her hand became a blood red spear, similar to the one that the corrupted Lancer was holding, except smaller to better fit her size.
