Rin, Luvia, Miyu, and Illya all stood by the river that went through Fuyuki City. Not far away was a faint bridge that went from one side of the river to another.
"All right, are you two ready?" Asked Rin, gaining a nod from both Miyu and Illya.
'Did she figure it out?' Wondered Illya.
"Okay. Let's go in." Rin declared.
Miyu extended Sapphire. "Expanding all alternate realities!" A voice rang from the Kaleidostick. "Transporting to Mirror World!" A magic circle appeared under them, before transporting them to the mirror world.
Above them, Caster floated in the air, hundreds of magic circles by her as they were ready to fire.
"Remember, you need to get over those magic circles. Then Caster should be easily defeated." Rin explained.
Miyu and Illya nodded. Illya started floating in the air, but then noticed Miyu. Miyu wasn't flying. No, she was jumping. She jumped into the air, before jumping again off of an invisible platform, only seen from the slight ripple under her feet.
"Woah. How is she doing that?" Illya wondered out loud, curious.
"She's condensing mana under her feet!" Exclaimed Ruby."
"Yes. Miyu is very clever." Stated Sapphire.
Illya flew through the air, Miyu jumping with her. As they started to get higher, blasts of mana flew out of the magic circles, shooting towards the two ten year olds.
Illya easily dodged the blasts, elegantly twirling in the air as she flew around. Miyu quickly jumped to the side, before jumping forwards on another mana step, allowing her to boost forward, keeping up with Illya.
Illya and Miyu approached closer and closer, dodging the blasts of mana before shooting past the circles, arriving above them. Illya floated in the air while Miyu stood on condensed mana. They were so high up, it felt like they could almost touch the clouds. Rin and Luvia looked like small dots from all the way up there.
Across from them, floated Caster. Flying towards Catssr, Illya shot a blast of magic. As it was about to hit her, Caster disappeared, reappearing behind Illya.
"Behind you!" Yelled Ruby, as Illya quickly flew to the side as Caster unleashed a blast of magic from her own hands, narrowly missing the unsuspecting girl.
Miyu's eyes widened. Instant teleportation. Able to go from one place to another in a split second. This, made things extremely difficult.
Illya turned around toward Caster. "What if we do a scatter blast?" She asked Ruby. "Then when she teleports, it stills hit her!"
"That might work." Ruby said. "Try it!"
Illya quickly flew closer to Caster before unleashing a scatter blast, a bunch of small magic blasts shot out from Illya's wand, covering a wide range. As they approached Caster, she quickly teleported behind Illya.
Illya turned around and dodged the magic blast Caster shot. "She teleported behind me." Illya stated.
Miyu stood there, thinking. She kept using instant teleportation every time a blast approached her, and every time she teleported behind Illya.
"Illya!" Yelled Miyu, giving a "come here" gesture. Illya quickly flew over.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I have a plan." Miyu stated. "I need you to shoot at Caster again. When Caster teleports, she should teleport right behind you and I might be able to hit her."
