The woman told this process to the child, as if teaching him how to do something.

I want you to be strong, my son.

Your mother has made some enemies, and I might not be here much longer.

The woman smiled at the young boy...

You can do it, my son. I know you can.

Gray jerked awake, eyes wide. Sweat dripped down his brow as he panted. Who was she? She seemed familiar, but he couldn't put his mind on it. He clutched his forehead, trying to force the memories out, only resulting in a headache instead.

He sighed as he flopped back down onto his bed. The same dream. He's been getting it almost every night now, each time it seemed to get clearer. He was almost there, he could feel it. But to what? He stumbled out of his bed. He had to get to school earlier today.

. . .

Carrying a giant trifold to school was not easy. Anyone who had done it before knew that. Especially if it was windy. Gray pushed through the wind as he neared the school, using the trifold as a shield. As he neared the school gate, he saw Rin standing there, hands on her hips.

"What took you so long?" Asked Rin.

"You try walking with a trifold through the wind." Gray panted as he handed over the trifold to his partner. Rin just smirked at him as she grabbed the trifold.

Looking at the school she stated, "Looks like we're one of the first."

"Why did you have me come this early again?" Asked Gray.

"Isn't it obvious? We need to get the best spot!" Rin exclaimed.

Her prideful nature even goes to school projects... Gray deadpanned.

The two walked into the school. Throughout the hallways were multiple tables, all set around. Rin walked over to a central one, placing it down. Gray placed their small replica of the sword in the stone in front of the trifold.

"We don't need permission?" Asked Gray suspiciously.

"Remember? They said first comes first serve." Replied Rin.

"They said when you get here to place you project on a table..." muttered Gray.

"Same thing." Responded Rin. "Now we have the best spot in the school. Everyone will see our masterpiece."

Gray nodded. "Well, we did do pretty good."

The doors opened as more students started to walk into the school with their projects, placing them down on tables before heading to their classes.

"We should go." Gray told Rin, who was still staring at their project.

"Alright." She said, nodding at him.

The two proceeded to walk to their classroom, sitting down in their respective seats. When Issei entered and sat down Gray walked over to his desk.

"Hey Issei-kun." Greeted Gray.

"Hey Gray-kun." He responded. He placed his hand on Gray's shoulder. "Don't worry, it's almost over."
