Ayako sat on her bed, watching Saber, who stood in her room. Saber looked around the room. "What a nice room!" She picked up a stuffed teddy bear. "You even have trophies!"

Ayako just sighed as she slapped her forehead. The day had been a long one and she just needed answers.

"Okay, Saber. I need you to tell me what's going on." Ayako demanded.

"You don't know? You're not a mage?" Asked Saber.

"No, What about Mages?" Responded Ayako.

"That makes so much more sense..." muttered Saber.

Ayako just raised an eyebrow as she tapped her foot, waiting for answers.

"Umu! I shall start with who I am! I am the magnificent Nero Claudius, Emperor of Rome!" Nero proudly declared.

Ayako just stared at her with wide-eyes before shaking her head. "Isn't Nero a man? ...At this point I believe you."

"Umu! I am known as a Heroic Spirit, a spirit of a hero who achieved great deeds in life, now becoming an object of worship after death!" Stated Nero.

"You have summoned me as your Heroic Spirit for this Holy Grail War!" Nero shouted.

"Alright. So what is the Holy Grail War?" Asked Ayako.

"The Holy Grail War is an event where seven mages summon a servant to fight to the death! The final master and servant are then rewarded with the Holy Grail, which can grant any wish!" Nero explained.

"Oh god." Ayako said. "I'm in a death match."

"Well, not exactly..." trailed off Nero, causing Ayako to look at her strangely.

"When Heroic Spirits are summoned, they are usually given info about the world around them so they can assimilate into culture." Explained Nero.

"Because of this, I have learned that the Holy Grail Wars have actually been disbanded for decades, the last one being at the end of World War 11. This Holy Grail War is different." Nero continued. "The Grail was corrupted at the end of the last Holy Grail War."

"What does that mean?" Asked Ayako.

"Any wish the Grail grants will just end in destruction." Nero said gravely.

Ayako cradled her head in her hands. "What have I gotten myself into..." she groaned.

Nero walked over and sat by Ayako, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Well, this isn't the worst. The other masters and their servants should know this as well, so we may be able to ally with people who share the same goals as us."

"Do you think we should get allies?" Asked Ayako.

"Honestly, Yes. I'm not at my full strength right now, which was why I had trouble fighting Rider. You happen to be a human with high magical energy, which allowed you to summon me when I heard your call. Because you aren't a mage though, I am not to my full power. I am weaker, and I can't use my Noble Phantasm." Explained Nero.

Ayako sighed. "Great...You kept calling that woman Rider. And called yourself Saber. What was that about?"

"Each servant is given a classification. There is Saber, Archer, Lancer, Assassin, Caster, Rider, and Berserker. Each servant has its advantages over others. Not to mention, when in combat I should be called Saber. This keeps the opponents from knowing my true name. If they know my true name, then they can analyze my legend and discover my weakness that way. Think of it like if our opponent was Achilles, then his heel would be the weak spot." Elaborated Nero.

Ayako sighed. "Alright. I want to survive this." She looked over to Nero. "So tell me everything I need to know, and I will try to be the best master I can."
