SUMMER'S POV
I came over to your home on a Thursday. Chriss was also there, but I found out when I knocked on the door and he opened it for me. He asked me why I was there before letting me in. To study with YOU, I responded.
I asked where YOU were and he pointed me to YOUR room, then he went back to playing games on [what I think is] his Xbox.
I knocked on the door to YOUR room, three times and I received no response. I rapped on the door another three times before YOU said I could come in.
YOU were lying on YOUR bed, shirtless and looking at the ceiling, YOUR back on the bed.
I came in and sat on a chair, opposite YOU.
We were silent for some time, before you asked me why I was here.
I exclaimed, to study.
Then YOU pointed at my hands, and said why didn't I have any books in my hands and I came with only a small bag.
I thought of my answer before raising both my hands in the air saying, YOU caught me, and that, I really came just to hang out.
YOU didn't react and just looked at the ceiling. Then, YOU said, remember that day when I gave you a sweater cause you were cold; I just remembered a song about that day.
I asked, if YOU made it and YOU said no, but it just randomly came to thought.
We didn't trade responses for some time before I asked about 'that song' whether YOU could play it for me and YOU said no plainly.
I playfully begged YOU and you said no again and that you were tired.
So I stood up from my seat, looked through YOUR room and, though YOU tried to stop me, I found a small, green ukulele inside YOUR closet.
YOUR expression changed slightly, to a happy one but when YOU saw me see it, YOU reverted back to your indifferent one.
I plopped down on the chair and asked if YOU could 'pretty please' play the song for me.
YOU sat up, collected the small guitar and plucked the strings.
[Instrumental]
I still remember, third of December, me in your sweater
You said it looked better on me than it did you
Only if you knew,Then YOU stopped.
I stomped my feet on the floor playfully and said, Why did you stop playing, in a angry tone and YOU said YOU didn't need to and didn't I come to study.
For 10 minutes, YOU didn't budge until I brought a crisp, five dollar note and promised to give it to YOU if played the whole song.
It seemed to work.
Only if you knew, how much I liked you
But I watch your eyes as sheWalks by
What a sight for sore eyes, brighter than a blue sky
She's got you mesmerized while I dieWhy would you ever kiss me?
I'm not even half as pretty
You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester
But you like her better
(Wish I were Heather)Watch as she stands with her, holding your hand
Put your arm 'round her shoulder, now I'm getting colder
But how could I hate her? She's such an angel
But then again, kinda wish she were dead as sheWalks by
What a sight for sore eyes, brighter than a blue sky
She's got you mesmerized while I dieChriss walked in around this moment. He was about to say something but he didn't.
He just let YOU finish.
Why would you ever kiss me?
I'm not even half as pretty
You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester
But you like her better
(I wish I were Heather)(Oh) Wish I were Heather
(Oh, oh) Wish I were Heather[Chorus]
Why would you ever kiss me?
I'm not even half as pretty
You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester
But you like her better
Wish I were-----------------------------------------------------
