School was over.

Summer, Chriss and I were at the crowded hallways as they waited for me to pack my bag.

"Since we're here, Summer; care to tell us where you went to because apparently you didn't run to the toilet." Chriss said, air quoting 'apparently'

"Oh... that," She said, scratching her head.

"Well, you see-"

As she spoke, Summer was interrupted by a young, very nervous middle school boy ran up to where we were.

Then, he proceeded to literally fling what I thought was an envelope right at us before running back the way he came.

Summer beat us to it and picked it up.

"An invitation to Jared's New Year party? Oh, that's a day after the ball/end of year party"

"Ball?!" Me and Chriss say in unison, confused about the whole situation.

"YESSSSSSS, it's a week after the talent show."

"TALENT SHOW????!!!!!"

"YESSSSSSS, when did y'all get so outdated? That's why I left, because I had a meeting with the extracurricular HOD."

"SECRET MEETING??"

"YESSS, I was put in charge of planning for the talent show, especially our 11th grade class' performance"

"GENERAL PERFORMANCE IN FRONT OF [redacted] PEOPLE????" Chriss said, no shouted at her.

Then, an annoyed Summer said "man, f*ck you guys" and left to attend to other needs.

Leaving only a growing confusion, between Chriss and I.

------------------------------------------------------

"Ayy, Zach are you ready to JAMMMMMMMM"

Me and Chriss were outside school near the entrance waiting for a certain blonde to come so we could go.

"I told you Chriss, I deleted all the rock that you are looking for because my young throat can only handle so much." I said, puttin

"Tsk, [redacted] you're never fun. How will you know that rock is ass if you've never sang it."

"I didn't say rock is ass, but that rock is ass"

"No, you just haven't-"

"Can we go?"

In the midst of our bickering, we hadn't noticed Summer come. Her glasses reflecting the sunlight onto my face.

"Can you..." I said, gesturing to her glasses.

"Oops, sorry!!"

"Let's get going, shall we?" Chriss said.

Then, she looked at me. And looked at me with this,

What word word will I use now? Hmm,

Longing expression on her face, which made me extremely uncomfortable.

------------------------------------------------------

"Made me extremely uncomfortable."

"Ok! Thanks, we'll go on a very short break and when we return, we'll answer all your questions on Twitter. Remember to use the hashtag #geniuspodcast when tweeting us." The reporter says. And with that we go off-air.

"So far, so good." I mumble.

"Yeah, you're doing great" The interviewer says, giving me 2 thumbs up to express her words.

The crew come in, and start cross checking the equipment and microphones as I check my phone.

Summer: watched episode 4 of Rick and Morty without you XD

Me: you b*tch

Summer: lol oh and I deleted your own profile. Love you 😘

"5, 4 , 3..." The producer counts us down as we prepare to go back on-air.

I adjust my headphones as just in time for the podcast to resume.

"Aaaaaand we. Are. Back. Thanks to all of you still listening to the podcast, we'll take your questions and get. Right. Back." She says.

Then the host opened Twitter on the laptop and read out some comments.

"Alright, the first is from LBJisa$$ who says 'hey zach love the podcast when will the album drop'. Awww, thanks we try our best to make everything we do high quality for you guys. Secondly," Then, she looks at me.

"Would you care to answer this?"

"Of course, *clears throat* to LBJisa$$, if I tell you, then I'd have to kill you."

Laughter.

"...haha, but seriously I can't disclose the date, but look out for it, it's dropping soon."

"Ok," the host says still chuckling from the earlier joke.

"Next is dxmonsl4y3r69, who says, 'Lelouch or Light (Yagami)?' Is this an anime question?"

"Umm, yes, to dxmonsl4y3r69, Lelouch, every day. Best not to go into detail why."

"*chuckle* Alright before we resume," the reporter says, looking at me.

"Here is a question from hazmatsuitguy, who says 'how do you make songs that are so different in genres, and even had enough time for freestyle'? Answer?"

"Ok, firstly, I'm answering the freestyle question. If you want to get better at freestyle, then you rap everyday, at least 16 lines on any topic. Then, rinse and repeat. As for the genre question, well, I don't really know. It just of matter of if you think you can do it, then go for it." I say in a rather convincing tone.

Hopefully, there aren't more questions to answer. All this talk was making me hungry, but this is not the time to act like that.

"Ok! Thanks for your questions, and to all that tweeted to us, you will get another opportunity. Remember to use #geniuspodcast to get your questions in. Now where were we?"

"Ohh, Jamming. So, we reached the 'makeshift' studio."
