Hope

It's been a couple weeks since Emma came home and I couldn't be happier. This is how it was always supposed to be. No drama, no fighting, no unequal treatment. Just us being happy and together. Em has been helping me with my magic. She's stronger than both me and Aunt Freya. I never realized how much I've missed her and how much I need her until I lost her.

Emma

Today Dad and I are going to go for a run. As soon as I woke up, I took a shower and got dressed. Cas dropped off Dean's car last week. I've been keeping in touch with Sam too. I made my way downstairs to see my Dad sitting on the couch. I've finally started calling him Dad. As I reach the bottom step, I get a great idea. He hasn't noticed me yet so I run and jump on him like I did when I was 8.

I hear a low umph and I start laughing.

"Come on! I haven't let my wolf out in 2 whole weeks. Let's go!" I say getting up and pulling him off of the couch.

He laughs and gets up. Just then, Aunt Rebekah came down stairs.

"Nik, Marcel wan-" she stars and I cut her off with a groan.

She looks amused and Dad chuckles at me.

"Well sister, whatever Marcellus wants is going to have to wait." He says with a small smile.

Rebekah goes back upstairs and then Mom comes down.

"Klaus, can I talk to you?" She asks. I refrain from rolling my eyes. I mean seriously, can't we just go for a run already?

"Is it important, Little Wolf? I have another matter to attend to." He says glances at me. Mom looks at me and smiles.

"It can wait. Go run with our daughter before she shifts right here and starts running in circles." She says walking back upstairs.

I grab Dads hand and not-so-gently pull him to the door. Right as I open it, Elijah stops us and I slam it closed.

"Niklaus-" and just like Aunt Bex, he gets cut off.

" OH FOR THE LOVE OF-. If you're not dying- which you can't- then IT. CAN. WAIT." I say. Elijah looks at me quizzically and Dad busts out laughing. I'm talking rolling on the floor with tears in his eyes laughing.

Once he composes himself he begins to speak, " Clearly, Brother, my daughter has my patience. Perhaps we should leave before she shows us all my temper as well." He says smirking and opens the door again.

" You don't have patience, Niklaus. None. At all." Elijah deadpans.

"My point exactly." Dad says turning back to my noble uncle.

Uncle Elijah was about to say something else but I use my magic to silence him.

"What was that? We can leave now and you nor the rest of our annoying, needy, family will stop us again? Okay, thanks bye!" I pull Dad out the door and close it behind me.

Marcel pulls up in the driveway and starts walking towards us. I have had enough of the interruptions so I flash my eyes at him.

"Leave. Leave now. Unless your here for someone other than my father, leave." I say with a slight growl.

His eyes widen and he vamp speeds to his car.

Dad grins and we make our way to the bayou and shift.

We ran, play fought, and played around in our wolf forms for about 3 hours. We shifted back and now we're walking back to the compound.

"Thanks, Dad." I say.
