Klaus
When I saw Emma and Hope faint, I don’t think I've ever been more worried in my thousand years of life. “Where's Vincent?” I ask, growing impatient. I swear if he doesn’t show I’ll rip his heart out.
“Right here. Kept my word. Now the only question is whether or not you guys are gonna keep yours. As soon as I'm finished healing your kids, you got to leave the city.” He says walking towards us. Hope and Emma were on the couch, sleeping. My beautiful girls. Already 7 years old and I missed them grow up.
“ Well, we're not gonna stay, are we? Your city has lost its charm.” I say sarcastically.
“ What he means to say is that we're very grateful, just... help them and we'll leave.” Hayley says walking towards him.
“ Just give us what we need, and we will do so, happily.” Elijah steps in. Always the noble one.
“ Excuse me. Okay... Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer timoun. Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer…” Vincent chants. I so hope this works.
” Mom? “ The girls say and slowly stand up.
” That's it. Your little girls are purified.” Vincent says backing up.
“ Thank you.” Hayley says checking over the twins.
“ Now look, the only gratitude I need from any of you is seeing you leave the city.” Vincent says before walking towards the exit of the compound.
“ Go see your daddy.” Hayley says lightly pushing the girls to me. They started walking before I heard birds. Black crows suddenly started falling to thr ground surrounding the twins..
“What is this?” I ask, getting defensive.
“ I don't know.” Vincent says in confusion. Hayley runs over to the girls bending down in front of them.
“Mom? Can you hear that?” Hope asks.
“ It's... whispers. Saying a name. Over and over.” Emma joins in. What the bloody hell is going on here.
“ Kre Nah Han... Kre Nah Han…” They start saying to together.
“ Vincent, what... what is that?” Hayley asks.
“ It's a nearly forgotten dialect. It's Creole. It means the Hollow. The Hollow is coming.” Vincent says. Emma turns to me.
“Daddy, I don't feel so good.” Emma says and I step forward to her.
“What's wrong love?” I ask reaching out to hold her. She's slightly swaying like she's going to fall.
“ I'm still cold and… dizzy...everything is…” Then she passes out.
“ Emma?!” I catch her before she hits the ground.
“Em! Sissy wake up! Please.” Hope says running to her sister, growing quiet at please. My poor daughter, she's so scared for Emma.
Still holding Emma, I walk upstairs into one of the rooms and lay her down on the bed. Hope comes in and lays right next to her, grabbing her hand.
“Dad, she's so cold. Like ice.” Hope says.
“I know sweetheart. She'll be okay. You both will.” I say as I tuck them both “ Why don't you get some rest.” Hope quickly falls asleep and I walk out of the room.
Looks like we’ll be staying awhile.Hayley
Klaus took the girls upstairs and I turned to Vincent.
“You said they were purified! What the hell happened?!” I step towards him and Elijah grabs my hand.
“Hayley, calm down.” Oh hell no. I turn to him.
“Don't tell me to calm down Elijah! My daughter just passed out after she's supposed to be “fixed” yet she just got worse!”, I turn to Vincent, “ Now you better tell me what the hell is wrong with my kids before things get ugly for you.'' I show my hybrid face vamping him against the wall, choking him.
“Come on, Hayley. Lets not kill him before he gives us answers… We can do that after. Now Vincent, according to you my girls are supposed to be better. So why aren’t they?” Klaus asks him calmly but very angrily. I'm so worried about my little girls. They don't deserve this. And Hope, she’s so scared.
“ I'm not sure,” He says. “I did the same spell on them that I used on Adam so I'm not sure why it didn’t work but I promise I'm sure as hell gonna find out." Vincent promises then walks out of the compound to take care of his witchy business.
He better be glad he left because I really want to rip out his insides. Oh God, I sound like Klaus. Never mind. Vincent, you can keep your guts.
