Emma

The past few days were spent planning Kal’s “power steal” as I so generously named it. And today, we’re going home. Hope and I agreed not to talk about it to anyone. It would be safer and there’s a better chance of it working if nobody knows it's happening. Right now, we’re sitting around a table reviewing the “plan” one last time before we go home.

“Okay, the ring you're wearing will help manifest your power over the next few weeks, meaning it's slowly gonna grow and get stronger.” Hope starts. Kal nods in confirmation and I continue.

“Then, once your magic has manifested to the fullest, it'll be time. Although your power will have grown, it will still be untapped. It's like that extra power is locked away in a box. We'll do the spell to tap into it.” I say pausing for Hope to continue.

“As long as you keep that ring on throughout the whole process, your power will continue to grow stronger after the spell is done. Then, we can go home and you can take over for your dad” she finishes.

“That's great, but how will I know when I'm done manifesting, or whatever?” Kal asks.

“Your ring. The color of the stone will change to black when it's time.” I say standing up.

“Okay then. I'll send you two back to-” I cut him off.

“Don't bother, I can do that myself” I say.

“Wait so you could have left this whole time?” He asks suspiciously and I nod my head.

“I could have. I could have stopped you before you even took us and I could have grabbed my sister and left the moment we got here. Hope knows that,” she nods, “we stayed on our own. Not because of you. I could have sent Hope back and stayed but she wanted to stay with me.” I say back.

Before he has a chance to respond to my statement, I take Hope’s hand and teleport us back to the compound where everyone is in the kitchen.

“OH MY GOD! Girls! Are you okay? Are you hurt?” Mom asks as she pulls us both into hugs and checks us over. The rest of the family is crowded around us as Dad is right next to Mom. As soon as she lets us go, he's hugging us.

“Don't do anything like that again. And then telling us not to look for you? What were you two thinking?!” He questions us.

“We’re fine Dad. Nothing happened to us. We didn't get hurt.” She says.

“But we did get two debit cards with an unlimited amount of money on them. Which means….” I trail off looking at Hope and then Rebekah.

“SHOPPING!” we all scream together.

“Well, Little Angel, would you like to tell us what exactly happened and how you got out completely unharmed?” Kol asks using the nickname he came up with when I was little.

“Hmm, sorry Bear. I can't do that. But what I can tell you is that torture isn't always neccesary when you give someone a chance to cooperate.” I say pointedly, looking at my dad.

“Well, I always get results don't I?” he says defensively.

“And he wonders why Elijah is the most liked Mikaelson besides us.” Hope says to me and I laugh.

We hear a low growl and we know it's time to run. Dad uses his vampire speed to rush at us but we’re quicker.

“Morator” We say holding hands. Dad starts moving in slow motion.

The whole family starts laughing at him. Hope and I walk right past him to the refrigerator and take out the apple juice and a blood bag. I go to the cupboard and get two glasses. Hope fills them with apple juice and I add the blood. We take our glasses and walk past dad again.

“Sorry dad, too slow.” we say at the same time and walk out the kitchen. After a few minutes, we call out, “Bekah! Shopping!” and not even two seconds later, she was at the front door.

Hope, Bekah, and I spent hours shopping and trying on new clothes. We had so many bags that we had to compel a group of people to carry everything in for us.

Omniscient

Klaus and Elijah were sitting in the living room when a large group of people walked robotically through the front door carrying tons of shopping bags.

“Seriously Rebekah?” Elijah asked the blonde original when she walked through the door with the twins.

“Don’t look at me! It was Hope’s idea and Emma did the compelling. I took no part in it.” She defends. Emma nods in confirmation and Hope lets out a light giggle with a nod of her head as if to say it was true.

Klaus rolls his eyes at his daughters with a smile on his face. He was happy that he had both of his daughters home safe with him. He couldn't help but be proud of who they become.

Hope and Emma spent the next few weeks with their family. They didn't have to go back to school yet so they had the time of their lives at home.
